Question for Lior in the Creator section: You mentioned better spending money on the web. What are you referring to? Some sort of a web front (what platform? React?) that uses webhooks and API calls to the Zoho backend? Or are you referring to Zoho Sites (I find Zoho sites very difficult to modify and adjust to your needs. I can't imagine integrating it with Zoho applications other than basic CRM intake forms). Can you elaborate on this?

I will provide a quick answer and will provide more info in the upcoming Q&A. In general when we need to create a portal we create a web portal on a web server (not zoho sites). 99% of the times its react with mongoDB. we will sync data with the portal from zoho apps (crm, books, etc)

What CRM information would be needed by customers? Is there a portal for Zoho One where customers can see their pending invoices, open tickets, paid invoices, projects, etc?

Zoho has a few portals. One for sales, one for accounting, one for projects, etc. If you need your customers to have access to more than one portal i would go with a custom portal. That's assuming you have 20-30k to invest.

Ahhh yess indeed ❤ This is precisely what I’ve accidentally discovered as I was « JUST » trying to connect other Zoho apps to my new Zoho site… There is so much to configure & optimise & learn first before any automation can take place !!! A large piece of a humble pie for me lol Question; I get that in order for all Zoho apps to communicate with each other one must connect them using their primary (super admin) email account - but once they are connected -> how can I set-up a customer-only email to handle all external comms across all Zoho apps, so that clients don’t ever see the superadmin email ? Is it possible to tweak this in one place for all apps simultaneously, like in the ZohoMail Admin app ? I have not found that function there, even though my customer-only email is set-up there as the admin of my organisation. I’ve only been able to tweak this in the ZohoBooks app so far in the « Sender email preferences » but don’t see how/where in other apps. I’d greatly appreciate any clues on how to resolve this 🙏

What would You recommend pls ? From your video it looks like I could just filter later but perhaps it’s better to keep these forms separate from the start ? Also, what is « web to case » ? Correct. It can be a set amount every year or it can be a dynamic amount sent from the CRM. In that case you will need a developer to help.

Hi Nicholas, if the customer has an automated tag associated with it then all payments will match the invoices which would automatically pick up the tag from the customer master data. You can test this out by running a balance sheet report, filtering to a tag, and opening up the receivables account. You will find customers with both the invoices and payments posting against them. Hope this helps :)
