After all the bad stuff that has happened to these whales in the past, humans still continue to force them to perform today! Humans are evil, and very cruel to animals of all breeds and all mammals! One would think they (humans) would have learned their lesson by now! 😠💔💔 And when a whale's fin is bent over, that is a sure sign of stress and pressure! 🐳🐋🐬😟😥💔💔 I can't watch anymore of this! They need to be taken back to their own territory. They don't need to be forced to perform! 💔💔💔😡They feel intense pain like we do and hurt emotionally like we do! When will you people ever understand that they are not made to perform?? It's been on the news media that these whales has a tendency to be bullied by the other whales, and forced to train at Seaworld, but that's not their fault at all! It's the trainers (humans) fault because they don't separate them from the other whales, and they don't need to be trained at all because they are forced trained! And when you see a whale's fin bent over, it is definetly a sure sign of stress and pressure! Poor whales. If it gets to be way too much stress and pressure for them eventually they will snap and, they will attack the trainers! I cannot believe it's still going on today! 🥺😢💔💔 How ignorant can you people be?? Watch the true story movie called, "Black Fish." Get educated! ☹
@mad2heal
@mad2heal Жыл бұрын
Hello, I appreciate your comments, and yes there is a lot to be educated to humans in general, not just about performing whales, but society as a whole. On the whale side of things, i agree that everyone should watch blackfish, though, if one does, must take in account that the director Gabriela Cowperthwait intended the documentary to make humans reflect themselves in many ways. I've watched not just the movie, but watched interviews with her and she explains that she understands as an intelligent individual that the whales already in captivity would be very difficult to get them back into the wild, but she knows that government and activists must put in legislation and bills to must be put into place to improve the future. That not only goes for these amazing whales, but for our own humanity if you really think about it. We are a very materialistic society. In order for us to help awesome creatures like this, we must help ourselves to improve our way of thinking. 2 things to maybe to maybe calm you, is 1, legislation has been passed to make sure seaworld cannot breed the orcas anymore, so they are phasing out this era of trained whales, (one of the main reasons i am documenting the shows because it won't be long that this will not exist in the future) so the 5 whales in Orlando at the moment are the last one's that will be there EVER... and 2, the bent fin theory is not true. I used to think it was myself, but I have talked to many experts and witnessed myself the behaviors of these orcas that it is just when the muscles in the dorsal fin are relaxed. Alot of the time you see in videos of them in the wild during strong ocean current swimming they erect the dorsal fin on purpose to be able to handle fast and strong swims, it is a great stabilizer for maneuverability. I hear you though, small space wasn't meant for these global migrators, but to understand for at least the ones now in captivity, they are loved deeply by the trainers, if they weren't it's true, they would fight against them often and you probably wouldn't even get a single performance from them. The love and positive environment that the trainers create for the orcas is essential to not just the performance, but the overall way of life while they are there. It is another reason I am documenting these shows, because there is a section towards the middle of the show, where a trainer interacts one on one on both sides of the tank and shows exactly how they have a strong bond with the orcas. I would say really watch those moments because there is no doubt that in order for them to interact that way, wouldn't be without food(of course), but even more importantly and probably overlooked, is the ESSENTIAL POSITIVE REENFORCEMENT. Take my videos as you will, though I wish to express love for these animals through them, because while we have these individual whales in captivity, we must give them love all the way until their last day. I am positive these trainers have complete love for these animals or they would not be allowed to word with them.

I agree, there is truth to your statement. It is a very difficult subject and these amazing creatures deserve gigantic habitats larger than what they have existing already. I wish they they would have tried harder to raise funds for mega tanks that have barely even been suggested by any concept artists. Though, the law against breeding in captivity might have stopped that vision in its tracks at the same time will leave it to orcas to no longer be in theme parks going forward. You can hate what I do, at the same time, I'm documenting the final phase of show performing orcas in America. It's controversial, no doubt about it, but it is fascinating to see the ability of these amazing creatures and I assure you, if you know anything about the love and positive reinforcement of the trainers that actually work with these animals on a daily bases, they are cared for on a level most people never showed to others. A bond that trainers make with these animals this positive is super important to everyone involved for safety and love. These animals are super intelligent, so much so, that they would not do the things they do if it weren't for the love and connection a trainer builds for months, years, and decades with the animals to ensure positive growth and care. It's something people don't think about thoroughly about a trainers dedication to these animals, it is Deep.

My personal belief is you're half right, though its hard to correct it by putting them right back into the wild. Though, I don't think it's the performance of the animals that is the issue, it's more about the small habitats in the back area that isn't as big as it could be. I myself believe that maybe they could focus on building super tanks the size of the lagoon that is in the middle of the park and fill it south enrichment. Though that is a massive project, and would require thorough examination to build. Supposedly there is a park in Canada taking on such a feat. So, I'm waiting to hear more on that project and hope that's the future. A giant super enriched tank that is more like a preservation would be something to behold. I think habitat size is the issue, because I really do think the whales and dolphins actually love to interact worth humans, be it a show setting or just a featured training ability. And yes, I don't mind anyone expressing your feelings about the issue as a whole, because even though I enjoy the show and document them, I'm well aware that there is work to be done to better the situation.
@mad2heal
@mad2heal 3 жыл бұрын
Oh, though, I don't think they hold nutrition from them just to perform, the care takers and trainers love these animals that they go out of their way to make sure they have the best nutrition possible so that they are healthy. I understand how zoos truly examine how much food animals should have to stay healthy. I just would reiterate that it's a habitat size issue that is the true issue.

@@mad2heal I do agree that the whales in captivity may not be able to be released right away back into the wild with their families. I think Seaworld should pay to make rehabilitation sanctuaries for all the whales and dolphins. These sanctuaries should be built in the areas where these beautiful animals were stolen away from their families, so they can communicate with their families, while learning how to survive back in the wild. The overall goal is to see them reunite with their families and live their lives free again!

I don’t understand why they can’t have empire of the penguin ride open, but they can for other rides. I originally thought because it was an indoor ride and the individual cars are small spaces, but they could do 1 party per car restrictions like Infinity Falls. Then i started thinking maybe because the line is indoors, but so is most of Manta and thats still open. And Empire has doors where they only let small amounts of people in at a time. The rest of the line is outside. If anything its “safer” than some of the other rides and attractions open.
