Depends on what you want. F1 24 is only gonna be f1, and ACC is only GT3 racing. My advice is to get regular Assetto Corsa, because it’s relatively cheap, and as a new person in sim racing there’s a TON of variety, and that’s even before the ocean of free mods. From assetto, you’ll be able to find out what you like about sim racing and be better informed to go down a specific path. iRacing is very good, but pretty much only for actual competitive ranked sim racing, and when it comes to iRacing’s price, don’t forget each dlc car costs around $15 too, even before you get any dlc tracks, which are more. I have some videos up doing different sims, the 60’s f1 video is Assetto. Hope this helps!

Watched a few on it but the problem is it's such an old and cheap wheel that it's a struggle to even get it running correctly. So just working with what I have for now till I can get a new one. @@m4yh3myt I heard your comment in the video, ok, makes sense because I thought you have a g29. I drove with logitech momo for over a decade which is also only 270 degrees of rotation and there were ways to setup the wheel to behave better. If it was AC I could probably help, beamng not so much. I use a completely modded g29 and use custom ffb LUT for beamng like in AC.

Latest patch but the modder for the rally courses spread them out across 2 maps so lots of playing on the old maps

There are, I only have them refresh at 24 fps for performance reasons tho. Good example to see it is at 1:22 - 1:32 with the dirt transition where it kicks up a bunch of dirt on the left side.

So funny story, i was using Gravel tires and coulnt get better than a little over 8 minutes, THen i switched to Tarmac tires and ohh boy. Now after lots of practice my time is 6.28.871..... I don't want to talk about how long it took to get that time...

I don't think 6 28 is a bad time and I feel like my tire choice will catch up to me later. But catching up 8 seconds should not be too hard with how slow I am on some of the later stages

Looks like he is using some amount of center deadzone. That would have the effect of snapping and remaining center.

I'm using a very old T80, because of that the wheel is basically emulating a controller which causes a lot of jerking motions. Got it calibrated the best I can but it's just a terrible wheel. Also I do have a large center deadzone because the wheels center calibrates a few degrees to the right.
