Love Skipton. Stayed there many times. Its a great place to stay. If you take up two spaces in the car park, then you have to pay for two.

I've stayed in that car park many times. Last year I was 5.50, ive never had a problem parking and there's also the other car park behind the toilets. Nobody is abusing it. I fully intend to use it again.

@@johnstevens4080 We can only go on what we was told and what we witnessed ourselves. The parking warden was adamant that your not allowed to park and sleep overnight unless in the green bays. We witnessed 17 vans not in the green bays and he told us there was 36 one night..Unfortunately we are afraid now the locals have started to complain that they will ban it like other places. He himself said he believes it will get stopped and we hope he's wrong and it stays for many years. Because like you we have stayed a few times and enjoyed the town. Happy travelling ❤️

Sad thing is councils only know ban. Councils love a survey why not do a survey and say 25 bays are always empty make 20 perm for vans any time and 5 others from 18:00-08:00. But now let’s as brits ban everyone 😢 Great vlog. We are still not sure where to head for Xmas 🎅

@@suzannewatson7566 I believe it depends on the individual supermarkets and location, some do state no sleeping in vehicles, which is why we look at just park when looking for one, they give more info, if we don't see that then we would park and to be fair not ask the store. Mainly because they have nothing to do with managing the parking now. Thats our understanding anyway. But could be totally wrong. X ❤️

Morrisons near me had Christmas stuff on the shelves in mid August. My missus phoned me having a Darrant (Darren rant 😂) saying how the kids are still on SUMMER holiday and they have Christmas stuff on the shelf. Meanwhile now it’s November, Waitrose now have Easter stuff on the shelf. 🤷♂️

New subscriber SASvANaCH vanlife recommendation.I got a 2008 Lwb high top Sprinter last year 107k one owner,a locksmith used it as his workshop for cutting h keys.new turbo and actuator,clutch,heater fan.I had to replace a burst heater matrix what a job that was.garage replaced cracked egr manifold and new common rail,mechanic done over 40 hrs on van but only charged me for 14hrs 👊😍..replaced coolant system with Evan’s heavy duty non water coolant for turbo diesel vans.wouldn’t like to go through another matrix replacement.new fuel pump and starter motor.might need a new alternator 🤔.passed mot just track rod ends and anti roll bar,got them to change oil in diff.still delighted with Bandit.👍
