I just finished watching nosferatu by Robert’s Eggers and it was juts mindblowing and dark in many ways , shape and form . The entrence of count orlok it was speechless I was breathtaking the whole movie . I almost feel I was gonna have a heart attack or a panic attack the cinematography and the atmosphere is beautiful grotesque . This new version of count orlok is egregiously beautiful, is like literary a living corpse lurking in the shadow , watching nosferatu was watching your worst nightmare come true : by far the best version of nosferatu and well nailed it . 10/10

I used to like your videos but you have become so remarkably bitter and, honestly, limited in your perspective. This entire take is just... a man refusing to consider women's perspectives and experiences with subjects like aging and body image. Couple this with your clickbaity titles and I'm just... out.

I like your analysis of the film. I am a woman, and I didn't care for it as much. I thought it was mid (2.5 to 3/5). - Pros 1. unique concept 2. visually appealing, the directing and effects were memorable 3. good commentary and message 4. the campiness was funny at times, reminded me of comedy horror films that I've enjoyed like "Reanimator" - Cons 1. mid acting 2. too stimulating and shocking, after watching it, was discussing it with a friend and it was so shocking that I had to try to actively recall the more subtle moments 3. a lot of background characters served little to no purpose, strawman characters seem common in modern films, like "Joker", and it's a trend that I do not particularly care for 4. *my biggest complaint with the film* I couldn't feel anything emotionally while watching it. I think the closest scene was when Elizabeth missed the date, but for the most part, I didn't feel attachment to the characters or the world. I watch films wanting to feel close to some aspect of it.
@agraciottiКүн бұрын
Great analysis! I completely agree with the problems you pointed out, even though I still like the film a lot and still think it is a remarkable achievement by one of the most talented filmmakers we have today. Few directors are so fierce in talking about the working class and dehumanization by capitalism like Baker.

After completing my rewatch of The Graduate I read some reviews and it really annoyed me that some people consider that the fleeing from the wedding was some sort of terrible mistake. In this video you abstain yourself from any personal opinion about that matter, but you do use the words irrational and impulsive, well fuck yeah! We should all get more irrational and impulsive. I think many of us young people are way to afraid of making mistakes and/or being perceived as ridiculous, even more with social media around, when we should be out there taking risks, following our hearts, living, as Ben and Elaine did. The future will always be uncertain, it´s inevitable, so it shouldn´t stop you from trying to alleviate this fact by living a safe life. That last serious, discouraged expression in both of their faces is what makes this characters so incredibly human. Anxiety, uncertainty, are emotions instrinsicate to the human being, everyone´s got them, so of course this couple isn´t going to be the exception. I refuse to believe that the whole movie isn´t promoting acting couragesly and (as you said) persuing genuine connections, as some people thought it did. I simply refuse it, what would be the point? Why was this movie so popular in the first place? Wasn´t it because it portrays in Ben the actions that we don´t have the guts to do? Shakespeare said, "The coward dies a thousand times, the brave man only once", Ben acted bravely, and therefore I respect him. PD= Great video.

I loved season 1 I really like season 2 stop season 3 I hated so much stop I tapped out after it was over and never went back There was too much needless relationship drama having scenes with two kids making out felt dirty And the fact that they spent the whole season building up a potential romance between Steve and Robin only to reveal she was a lesbian because the actress wanted more diversity in the show she got what she wanted at the expense of the plot and Lucas's sister I wanted to bang my head against the wall every second that obnoxious brat was on screen

I enjoyed this movie a lot more than Red Rocket which I was really disappointed by (save for the great cast of supporting characters). I thought Anora was much more compelling in its story and performances and it definitely had the better ending. That being said, The Florida Project is still Baker's masterpiece by far.

Small point: sue isn't sort of her. It is her, just in a different body. That's entire point of the film. "There is no her or you. You are one"

Why is everyone saying that they don't have memories of one another ? They're clearly does, the DO experience the life of the other self ! To me it really looks like a drug addiction, where your druged self is you, and not really you at the same time. But nowhere in the movie is it stated that they have distinct consciousness, they are one

I don't often hate on something just because everybody else loves it too much, I can usually accept that some things just aren't for me and still be happy for the people who watch it. But one of the few times that was an exception was when I was in high school and I kept hearing everyone raving about this show. It felt like every couple days someone was talking about the latest episode or the newest season and how insightful it was and it made me never want to watch it. We were the prime demographic at the time but I looked into the show after graduating high school and I'm so glad my assertion was right. The hindsight makes me hate it more because there were so many students I knew who resonated with the themes depicted in the show and that is concerning.

Hey everyone! I think I bet the record! Five years ago, watching the last season, I got SO INDIFFERENT towards the show that I DIDN'T EVEN WATCH A FEW FINAL EPISODES 😅 So I did it now, in 2024. And here I am: watching tens of reviews 😅 Back then I just thought that I had lost interest, overgrown the show, changed as a person and maybe the show wasn't that big of a deal after all.... But watching the reviews and the comments I realize that it was the magic of shitty writing 😃 I wasn't actually a problem. The problem was that a masterpiece turned into a classic shitty Hollywood blockbuster with shallow characters, inconsistencies, cliches and just a candy wrapper without a candy. But on the other hand, I'm glad that the audience - at least in the USA and UK (I'm from an other country) - was smart and writing-sensitive enough not to buy this colourful empty stupid cliche instead of a great story. ❤
