Great interview as always. This interview made me like and respect Feldman's journey to get here. As long as him and the hustler production team have access to the RFID system and hole cards in real time the HCL stream is compromised . No way around it.

I grew up gambling, whether it was pitching golf balls for closest to the hole, cards (any game that doesn't seem rigged or contain wild cards), pool, or anything that would be a little more exciting with a small amount of money involved. I never thought hustler had a negative connotation. To me, it was someone who was skilled at their art, took all the money in the room and everyone loved them for it. With everyone, who was now broke, asking when the hustler would be back because they all had a great time and basically just felt like they were just paying for entertainment.

For all that Len is as a professional gambler, I'm surprised at how he told the blackjack - splitting tens story. Firstly, other players' decisions have no impact on your EV at the table (short of the fact that them being there gets you fewer hands per hour). Their mistakes only impact them. In the short run, they could be saving you just as much. Confirmation bias keeps people from recognizing when hands work out in their favor because another patron played a hand differently than they would have. Also, it is correct to split tens vs 6 at a true count of +5 (hi-lo) or higher. That index play is in the top half of the Illustrious 18.
@tommyfu927114 күн бұрын
That story is hilarious. What you say is correct but remember this is also him as a 20 year old. Today he probably wouldn't be worried about what someone else is doing.
