Andy was the most perfect guy ever ❤ He was the original projection of Phil. I believe the writers did want Hailey to end up with him but as the actor wasn’t available, they went with Dylan. Dylan was made “palatable” for us by showing how he was similar to Phil, and Phil rooting for him suddenly in one episode was just a little out of his character. And not to mention the actor who played Dylan didn’t give his best performance. I mean between Arvin and Dylan, it was obvious Haley went with Dylan. Arvin was never suitable for Haley. They didn’t click, had no chemistry. A forced ending for Hailey, which could’ve been better if they got a new character altogether for her. She deserved someone with chemistry like Andy.

Haley's arc in this show should have followed Claire's. When they were kids they were crazy and dated tons of different people But eventually they fall in love with a goofy guy that helps them stay grounded and they begin a family and live happily ever after, That's it. But instead of continuing this path with Andy they decide to throw it all away and have her start dating tons of different men that aren't right for her completely destroying her character arc and ending her character in an extremely unsatisfying way.

Andy is better than her latest guy, I guess studio executives messes many shows too
