If u put it on .75x speed it sounds normal. The sound quality is grainy and cutting in and out from the mic on the right side

I can't give you an explanation why koyo chose that cover but I know alot of bands do "rips" of classic album covers with their own bands logo and album names for super limited releases/tour merch. I see alot of cassette rips but I can't think of any off the top of my head.
