Can I agree with another comment and thank you for making in English. Being a fellow LR130 overland owner, it is great to see your adventures with the “Turtle”. My LR130 is still being finished and I’m yet to have any adventures it it. Your wonderful and informative videos are such an inspiration especially as I’d like to travel similar areas to you. All the best.

I love Turtle en ook Buddy :) I think you were getting stuck in the mud because you are using the brake and clutch. When you are in first low you are going very slowly and do not need to go any slower. It's also dangerous because if you lock the breaks the car will begin to slide. When losing traction you should accelerate slightly. Do not brake! Another big tip: When it's muddy, the areas next to the road often offer better traction.

If you didn’t know that was Spain you would think you were in Utah . Are you allowed to park in the desert overnight? Looks like you were there in October by the colour of the autumn leaves. Sad you lost the drone footage but lovely to see such wonderful scenery.

Een vraag. Betalen jullie camper motorrijtuigenbelasting of gewoone personenauto mrb?
@BenenLizet6 ай бұрын

Excellent. Thank's so much for making in english, sadly my language skills are very very basic ! Another great episode. You've given me inspiration to visit that region in our campervan. We toured the Picos de Europe region this October with it's stunning scenery and peaceful atmosphere. I've found finding trails / walking routes difficult in Spain, there appears to be many different apps but the walking routes all appear a long way from each other. We enjoy walking, can you recommend an app, or reference book that you have used to find walking routes? The gorge walk you did was stunning and your drone footage really captures the landscape of the villages and their settings in the countryside.
@BenenLizet6 ай бұрын
Thanks again! We just left Picos de Europa, which will be our next video, very beautiful there indeed. We mostly use Alltrails for our hikes, it is a paid app, but we feel it's worth it. Aside from that, we spend time on the web reading blogs from other travellers, to find less touristy trails. On a side note, most hikes we do, did require a bit of driving, but often we combine a hike with other activities in the same area, to make a plan for a couple of days. Hope this helps!

Buena Ruta y bonito viaje! Em cuanto a lo pesado o lijero del vehiculo, es poco realista, por estos caminos mismos, nosotros circulamos con tractor, remolque, camion forestal de 40mil kgms. Etc... Por eso siguen estos caminos abiertos... Que un defender es demasiado pesado... Sera opinion de algun urbanita. Saludos.

I’d hazard a quess this vehicle is back end heavy ( also quite heavy overall ). You may find it easier with less weight and more balanced front to back …. I’m surprised only slight mud slowed you significantly
@BenenLizet7 ай бұрын
Yes, it is heavy! As we said in the video, we live in the car fulltime, the Alu-cab is heavy itself. Even though we could detach it from the car, off road driving is not our priority, so probably not the most optimal setup - we do it for fun during our world travels.
