Hi! Thanks for sharing your fishing videos and photos while driving. Some roads and landscapes looked familiar. If I could guess, you first fished near the mouth of the Klamath River. Then maybe farther south at a beach down from and in from Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.You missed fishing Kellogg Beach just north of Crescent City. It can be a real hot spot for lots and big red tails.

It warms my heart to see someone else practicing catch and release. I mainly Fly Fish, but where I live the options for C&R streams are not that good. Most of the streams are Put and Take, which tends to draw those who leave trash and keep everything to "Feed their family". SMH!
@saeleeadventures4 ай бұрын
Yeah. My lady and I are usually C&R unless we’re backpacking, so we’ll keep them out of necessity but usually only enough for a meal.

Where did you get that map?

We got the map from our campground kiosk at Elkmont. But I’m confident you can find the maps at the visitor centers.

💛...somehow, i don't associate trout streams with texas, but this, is a game-changer...
@saeleeadventures5 ай бұрын
There’s certain places out here that they stock . But usually they won’t survive the summer. Guadalupe River is a prime location for trout.
