"Losing My Life" is about his becoming sober & fighting to stay sober. "Drugs" is about the constant struggle then him being terrified that he passed that gene to Willow. Both his parents were addicts but his mother abandoned them when Ronnie was a baby so his father got clean to take care of him & his brother. He eventually forgave her, he finally did get to meet her but unfortunately because of all the drugs, she was dying.
