Auf Der Maur was picked for Hole not even knowing how to play bass because Courtney Love could take advantage of what her father did for a living. It’s a good thing Melissa got into music tho but Corgan and Courtney used the hell out of her by barely paying her and not giving her the credit she deserved.

Elements of grunge and hard rock with a soft refinement and thoughtful gentle energy juxtaposed with it. She is so wonderful and overrated. The best part of Hole. The real talent.
