How did he get away with all the shoving and assisting?

I find it very disrespectful when modern designers such as Doug Hewson mock the efforts of Martin and LBSC, if it wasn't for the latter two the hobby would not exist and Doug and others would have never entered this wonderful hobby.
@union31021 күн бұрын
He would have done a lot better dropping a passenger at the beginning and doing more laps

Sadly a dying hobby, a lack of skilled model engineers wishing to spend the time to make something, nowadays they would rather buy a box of bits manufactured in China and sent out in plastic bags to assemble.

Intro music on this and many others way too loud. Alan has form for going fast, disqualified on one run!

Can't believe that someone leapt over the track immediately in front of Dennis towards the end of his run there. If that man had caught his foot on the rail it could have ended in disaster.

I have reviewed your KZbin channel and I am impressed with your videos. However, I believe there are areas that require improvement, such as SEO, rank tags, and tag volume, which seem to be incomplete. Additionally, I noticed a lack of engagement in terms of likes and comments on your videos. My name is Arafat Amin, and I am a Freelancer with over 2 years of experience in KZbin video SEO. I would be more than happy to assist you in increasing engagement, likes, and comments on your videos. By optimizing your KZbin video SEO, we can work together to enhance your channel's visibility and attract a larger audience.

I know exactly what the technical adjustment with an angle grinder on the speedy was… if built to the drawing the spring hangers are just lower than rail height. I had it with mine rubbing on a 2 1/2 rail, but the same happens at GMMES with their centralised 3 1/2. Also had it catching on GL at level crossings and turntables.
@georgewinsall3832 Жыл бұрын
That's a great insight Tom, thanks! Gravesend must be pretty unique with the central 3 1/2", I haven't been anywhere else and seen it

Knowing and having known several on your list YES well placed. 2017 saw us at the Oldham exhibition chatting to Ben Pavier on his stand. Total lack of public but lots of superb models. We were lucky to get to the last 2 IMLEC's and enjoyed. Maidstone organised by Tom will take some beating. He is also a superb NIGHT DRIVER well up to 2.00 AM that is. David and Lily.
