Hi, can you please tell me which version of max you are using as I can see one unfold option in peel menu. Can u please tell me it's a plugin or any other version you are using other than 2021

Question: How long does it take for YOU to texture something like this? For example, when I see a game like Doom Eternal I'm blown away. Seems guys like that are on a whole other level.

Turning to triangles doubles polygon count, yet they are less complex polygons as well. I wonder what uses more processing power, an object with 20,000 quads, or an object with 40,000 triangles.
@fusions3d8 ай бұрын
At render time they get converted to triangles and game engines will convert the model to triangles upon importing. The reason you would pre-triangulate a mesh is if some program cant do it itself OR the automatic triangulation does a bad job.

One thing you're sleeping on is the constrain selection by angle in face selection mode. You can select large sections of "flat" geometry to quick planar map

The short answer: For games yes, for Arch-Viz no.

Why the damn sake it's sooooooo unhandful to simply triangulate? Even blender has just ONE BUTTON to do it, but only in 3ds max you need to rip your ass to make thing you could do in other 3d program by clicking one button -_-

The reflections on the mirror are amazing! How did you achieve that with Lumen?
@fldbots4 ай бұрын
I believe it is raytracing. Lumen gives artifacts.
@mrlightwriter4 ай бұрын
@@fldbots But it's not possible to render Lumen together with raytracing, or is it?
