As a Real Madrid fan, I would like to highlight some of our problems. 1 ) We have been suffering with injuries not this season but also last, this would mean that there is something fundamentally wrong with the medical staff and support. Perhaps, it could be a good time to visit this, "Method Pintus". Pintus is basically our fitness coach 2 ) The injuries as of today ate Militao and Carvajal, which are two stalwarts and hard to replace, so no wonder we are struggling there. We have also had a Cantera(Academy) guy called Joan Martínez, who is highly rated bimut got a season long injury. He was originally touted to replace Nacho but it seems like Raúl Asencio is the go to guy. 3 ) Ancelotti's management of defence is head scratching, we have a guy here who has played Asencio in a few matches and the player has reciprocated as well with some good performances, one against Liverpool which stands out playing as a centre back. Still, he goes and asks a midfielder to go and play in defence because he thinks playing Tchouameni is, "safe". This guy does not have any proper defender's instincts and the only thing he could do is pass the ball well from defence. Vazquez is more of a character than a quality player but useful enough to play for us in select matches but you put him against top quality players, he will get exposed. We always think that he is our 2nd right back when he is just a actual squad playing RW. We have also not given any importance to academy grown players like we have done with Fortea. I honestly think there are only 3 choices, we switch Asencio to RB, Fortea plays or we get someone on loan. All of these options have their pros and cons for the entire setup of the team 4 ) I wouldn't say that Carlo is entirely gone after the season as history shows that he and the club have bounced back with a bang after such situations. Having said that, there are lot of structural and tactical issues with the team which is not being well addressed by Carlo at all this season. I wonder if this season, something is happening to him like what happened with Zidane's last season where he is becoming mentally fatigued. If that is the case and suatains, he better go on his own gracefully considering that a readymade Xabi Alonso is available 5 ) Trent is for sure not the best RB in the world but I am wondering if Xabi coming in would help as the system would need wing backs(if he continues the same system from Leverkusen here) and Trent is the best possible option there and we can cover it up with 3 solid defenders. But if we decide to stick with Carlo and play the same tactics, in a 4 man defence I would have doubts too. Only silver lining is he is better than Vazquez overall and a footballer at his peak 6 ) I would say that sensations on what has happened and where the team is going would decide Carlo's fate. Performances and not trophies could count a lot. Ultimately, be it Carlo or anyone else, we need to optimize this team and we should develop a roadmap on such basis going forward

Turned out Bumrah couldn't do it all himself. There are real concerns with the Indian bowling. As soon as I heard Shami was injured I thought we'd win the series. Siraj is a third seamer not second and the other guys are all too inexperienced.

I hope they can but i dont think they will. The mindset is always safe approach nd u can c that in the selection of the squad. Wcup final is the best ex...the moment the pressure comes at the biggest of stage...they literally choose the timid approach. Really think rohit, kohli, jadeja have past there time in white ball format....in wcups atleast. Hardik and pant s selection has been based on optimism nd reputation. They would have served if the squad was a younger one.

We do agree that Kohli is an asset to any white-ball team. But we also agree that no one is immune to criticism. There are some memorable knocks from Kohli over the years where he has won matches for India, single-handedly. But the current Indian bench strength can give a run for your money even if you are the best.

We are part-time, arm-chair commentators and critics, not professional full-time cricket analysts. We are having fun and all of us love the great game like you do and our intent is not to spread misinformation. Kohli and Warner in 2016 were not very different players in terms of runs or strike rates, is what our notes tell us.

@@rsaisourabh4938 Thank you for giving your feedback first up, sorry for not giving the stats a little more context. VK had a SR of 152 in that season with 640 balls faced, and Warner a SR of 151 with just 560 balls. The whole point was the fact that VK consumes more deliveries to reach a higher SR. A higher average is a problem in T20s, it’s not the great thing that ppl think it is.

Im Australian, and warner was an absolute disgraceful example of an Australian. He along with his cheating mates should never. Have been allowed back playing after cheating. A huge embarrassment to all true sports fans of Australia.

I agree it was an embarrassment and was tough to deal with for every Aussie sports fan. But they reformed, got reintegrated into the team and have been playing for a while now. If anyone should have a problem with it, it should be the current team. But they seem pretty okay and forgiving of Smith and Warner. The questions we should ask ourselves is - Do we want our lives to be defined by our biggest mistakes? or do we want to be forgiven if we have served our sentences? Is there something called a second chance?

What kids watching them should learn is - "when you cheat, you will lose a year of your career, your reputation gets tarnished, you will have to work your backsides off to prove to the world that you are capable of reforming and it's all hard for not just you, but your family, friends and teammates". So it's not okay to cheat. Millions of dollars can be made even without playing cricket, just writing bios, giving interviews to Fox, 7, WWOS, Amazon, etc. If that was the case, they would not have fought their way back into the team to play a few more years, putting body on the line to save every single run. Some people love work and do it for passion. Beyond a point on the affluence scale, a little more money does not matter much. I don't disagree with you one bit that it was disgraceful from Smith and Warner, being leaders of the group. Cannot be forgotten for sure, but forgiveness is something they can earn.
