I sometimes forget so many mods aren't regular vanilla gameplay e.g. community lot skilling, job level numbers! So vital!

If you are a beginner and interested in the modern look of Clean UI but don't like white, there is also Starship UI for us Dark Mode people. It is literally the same as Clean UI but in black and grey. Never want to switch back tbh.

I'm no stranger to mods but I'm glad I watched this video because I've been meaning to find the Simply Leftovers for ages and as someone who prefers to original ui but loves the colorful seasons icons - thank you for the link! my current riverblossom hills (and desiderata) gabe and patricia also didn’t work out. Even tho they both had the want their chemistry was so bad my romantic standards mod would not allow it so they just ended up fighting not wanting to be romantic and breaking it off. Now that I think about it I haven’t seen Patricia-Gabe endgame really ever.

@@Lgrftgf Now that’s interesting! I love that despite Maxis’ intentions, their relationship is doomed more often than not. I thought they’d be an easy couple to set up but they’ve been the worst, so I’m glad to hear it’s not just me 😂

@@NeonPlumb In my hood it was actually Patricia when I wasn’t playing her flirting with Julien Cooke, John Mole, Peter Ottomas and Morty Ross. I has to give her hopeless romantic trait after that. And about the suffling households around maybe if you move Cleo here, Catherine might want to gift the house to Martins so they can have more space or something.

@@Lgrftgf Oh I love that idea so much, it didn’t occur to me to do that. I can definitely see Catherine keeping the Veijo home as a kind of bachelorette pad, and the Martins downgrading since it’s just the two of them. Thanks for the video, I think I’ll do this!

what I did with this house is that I made David’s ”room” in the upstairs landing and with bookshelf ”closed” it off. My inspiration was my own family with 9 people my brother had similar build in room in the landing with bookcase and curtains giving him space. I love ottomas family probably because it reminds me of my own family. About to start watching your let’s play. I just started desiblossom so fun to see someone (kinda) going thru the neighbourhood at the same time.

Tbh I’ve used it for so long and have so much fun with it that it’s unlikely I’ll be swapping it out for another version anytime soon, ultimately I can only make these videos if I play in a way I enjoy! Stella and Sandra look so cute. I look forward to seeing what you do with Stella. There are so many story options to go through with her. And Catherine and Andrew - in a small town I'm sure there would be gossip about Catherine getting together with her deceased best friend's son whom she is the "surrogate aunt" of. I'm really enjoying this so far.

Love it! Catherine and Andrew getting together is so wrong, but man are they determined. I always have to pause immediately when entering the household the first time to use mods to keep Catherine and Betty off of Andrew. I usually take it as a sign that Catherine wants to set him up with Cleo.

Fitting the Ottomas family into a house is such a challenge. I think I would have paired Sharla and Dora because they’re always best friends in my game. I’m excited to see how you play this hood- it’s my favorite!
