Canas will forever be on par with the three lords because of the chapter before the Dread Isle where he first joins you. That paladin kept critting and nobody could stop him without dying, so I used Canas to soften him up and instead, Canas immediately critted him with Flux and demolished him. From then on, he proceeded to get stronger until he killed the Fire Dragon himself with Luna. This is now the song his enemies hear when he attacks.
