I just rebuilt my 5.3 ground up and replaced the power steering pump with one that has less mileage, but now I only have power steering when I’m on the throttle. Any ideas as to what that would be?

Low idle or probably a bad pump.

Amazing video. Was pulling my hair out doing all the normal things , checked fuel filter changed plug replaced ignition coil. This was it the whole time. Started right up thanks so much

My yth 18542 does not cut same on 4 l reach under deck and right blade spins around but left blade turns like it's in gear u can turn but tight right u can spin around can u help please

Great video...one exception comment. Bypassing your backup blade shutoff. I use to want to do that to my mower, unfortunately I work in an Emergency room and had a little baby girl that got run over by a mower that was backing up and ran over her leg. Really really bad scene, lost a limb and had to live with it because of that reason. I feel for the family because it was a total accident. No one knew the child was outside. I use to want to do that to my mower but now have to say there is hardly a time that I don't back up on my mower that I don't think about this child. My kids are grown and have no children but you never know. Could be a child, a pet or something. Not worth it.

It's hard to actually sift through all the BS from pee wee gaskins he was a pathological liar and a lot of his stories seem outlandish he wanted to be what's called a power man so a lot of the times he made up or embellished stories to make him sing more evil than he actually is the murders that he was charged for where horrifying enough like murdering a woman and then raping and beating her infant daughter to death with a hatchet

You are tough as nails lol I have a HUGE restoration air purifier and I have gas mask on and I still am having such a hard time with the chemicals I’m breathing in so much so I have to take breaks and then my gas mask is fogging so I can’t see nothing. It’s terrible so wish I could do what you’re doing lol and tough thru it!!! I don’t know HOW you’re doing it tho!!

Spray it on heavy so it stays shiney after the first coat starts to dry. It will help with the splotchy

shouldn't you release the spindle brakes before testing the spindle? the noise i was hearing sounded like it MIGHT be the brake rubbing on the spindle pulley.

It is a fix for the gas flow, either you removed to much material or not enough. Also you may have a clog in your carb you need to clean out. You can also buy a new part at the link below.

Get away from using acetone for thinner for starters It evaporizes too quickly before the paint has time to flow out, Also wash the panel with soap and water and dry thoroughly before shooting paint on it, You would be surprised how much dust is still on the panel after sanding if you don't thoroughly wash it off, Then wipe it down with a tac cloth before painting.

@@Jsellers1965 What I thought your problem was from the air pockets that form around the dust specs while you are spraying and popping making it look like your problem was water, Unless you edited yourself washing the panel that was the one thing I noticed was that you only wiped the panel after sanding. Water in your line is a big problem but I think that if you had water in your air lines the fisheyes would have looked bigger than the pin head size pops that you had on your panel. You would need a tank full of water to get that many fisheyes, Spray the gun without paint in it and see if you are getting moisture out of the gun, Spray it towards a piece of cardboard if there is that much moisture in the tank it will show.

My YTH has to crank and crank with the choke on, even on really hot days, before it will finally start. Wouldn't doubt if it's related to this "feature".

It pops back in easy. There’s a metal jacket that slides over it to keep it retained. This will work but it will pop back out, atleast it did in my case. Your fix with the pipe is the best cheap solution. That’s what I had to do.

Pull the wires off one at a time to see if it quiets down when you pull the wire off. Sounds like a rod bearing is wiped.
