Let f(x)={1−∣x∣,0,∣x∣≤1∣x∣>1 and g(x)=f(x−1)+f(x+1), then number of points where g(x) is not differentiable is
@JEEBeyondNumbers10 сағат бұрын
you will easily be able to answer this question. follow these steps: 1. open the modulus sign and make more piece wise definitions of f(x). 2. Then once f(x) is perfect for differentiation then differentiate it. 3. then put x->x-1 for f(x-1) and put x->x+1 for f(x+1), then add. 4. draw graph and it will be simple to give the answer. I have covered this type of question in my playlist of continuity and differentiability, check it out!

Sir ... please explain the solution for this question: Let f(x)=|||x|-1|-1| and g(x)-(max f(t): x <= t <= x+1, x in R} Then, 1)The graph of ` g (x)` is symmetrical about ? 2) The number of points of non differentiability of g (x) ?
@JEEBeyondNumbers10 сағат бұрын
This type of question is solved through logically drawing out the graph of g(x). I have covered this type of question in my continuity and differentiability playlist, Check it out!

Are derivatives not more effecient?
@JEEBeyondNumbers24 күн бұрын
when you will take derivative and equate it to zero. then after squaring it you will reach a trigonometric equation which will take time to solve. But the solution described in video will solve the question in less time. Derivatives are not always efficient when it comes to "find the maximum or minimum value" type of questions.

We could do it by one more way , I.e , pehle hamm numerator ko o to pie ka interval Kar lete , or phir numerator Mei baki jo bachta woh pie to n pie interval rehta jo ki ek increasing interval hye or f(x) bhi positive hi hye . Toh yeh saari type (t+y)/t bann jati yahan par t and y both greater then zero.. So limit Hamari greater then 1 , a jaati.. Just 15 seconds mein ho Jaata..

Sir 999 maximum value nahi h na par vo range m aayegi
@JEEBeyondNumbers2 ай бұрын
999 maximum value ho bhi sakti hai and nahi bhi ho sakti hai. It all depends ki function ki actual range kya hai. Video mai jo range ki baat ho rahi hai vo bass ek subset hai actual range ka. Question kaafi kam information wala hai toh ham siraf itna bata paye hai ki 1/999 se 999 tak all values must be in the actual range but ho sakta hai it actual range 0 se 999 ho ya phir 1/999 se 1000000 ho.

Sir vaise maine ise click karte hi samjh gaya ki isme distance formula wala approach lena hai Maine pahle bhi aise 3 se 4 question kiye hai
@ckjain_maths85943 ай бұрын
Sir, I am not a JEE aspirant, but I see videos of mathematics as hobby. You have explained the concept of sandwitch theorem very well. Thanks for such informative video. But I have one query. In the second question, one observation is that for each value of n, the sum cosists of summation of 2n+1 terms. And the second observation is that as n increases, the first term of sum decreases. The second observation indicates that the series is converging but the first observation indicates that series may be diverging. Can we prove that overall the series is converging ?
@JEEBeyondNumbers3 ай бұрын
Thanks for you appreciation. Here is some information about your comment: I think you are a little confused about the terminologies such as convergent or divergent. Actually the series is not a Infinite Series ( series having infinite terms). So we can't say that this is convergent or divergent. Let say if you want to consider a similar Infinite Series. Consider summation of 1/(r^2) where r goes from 1 to infinity. This series is convergent. Here you would notice that your explanation that the terms are decreasing might seem to be true. BUT it will not always be true. Consider 1/r where r goes from 1 to n. here the series is divergent . Even if you think that the terms are decreasing. Convergent and Divergent behaviours are found by using standard methods such as Integral test. The series (1/r^2) and 1/r behaviours are determined using Integral test or To be more specific P-test(special case of Integral test). I Hope it has cleared your query.

@JEEBeyondNumbers3 ай бұрын
haan thora tough toh hai. lekin it is better ki tum kuch cheeze already decide karke chalo about any type of problem. For example jo question video mai hai usmai following methods should come in mind: 1. square kholkar expansion and simplification 2. substitution karke derivatives ka concept use karna 3. distance method (discussed in video) Aise karke tumhe paper mai bhi easy rahega questions solve karna. Hope it helps.
