That was awesome to watch.! Shame we didn’t hear all the expletives. I’ve done around a dozen track days on my fire blade and every time full of expletives in my head. I loved the constant learning of the circuit. It’s a full on mental and physical experience. Nice one.!

I've have been a subscriber of yours for the bicycling content for years, and have recently rekindled my love of motorcycling. I was watching TT coverage and there you were! How awesome! I now see this awesome track day motorcycling footage going on. Excellent!! I just turned 54 this year and want to do some track days as well. I picked up a 02 GSXR 1000 and am getting it ready. They wanna share the road with cars when its convenient for them but don't wanna share the stop lights when it's inconvenient.

1 rule would save us cyclists a lot of grief from drivers: Never make a car pass you twice. This means not jumping lights or stop signs, it also means not passing cars when they get stopped at lights. I learned this rule in a bike safety course when I was 10. Other cyclists don’t seem to have ever even heard of it. If we want to be treated like cars, we need to behave like cars. I do get upset when cars pass too close to me (we have a 4 foot law in New Jersey) or when they make a right turn just after they pass me and can’t wait the 5 seconds it costs them for me to clear the intersection, but the vast majority of drivers do share the road. I did 52 miles yesterday and only 1 driver didn’t pay attention and almost pulled out in front of me when they didn’t really want to stop at a stop sign. He saw me at the last second and did stop. On both sides it only takes 1 mistake to result in a tragedy.

Red light at a ped crossing as soon as the ped has crossed then I don't wait for the green because I need to clear the Island before the cars start pulling away.

Cyclists should stop at red lights, yes. You will always find reasons why not as you already suggested in your video. I've been in a car when the lights just have not changed because the sensor detecting the car did not work so just like the cyclist there comes a point when you've got to say this is ridiculous and you go, so long as it is safe to do so. Where I have my problem is in cities like London where cyclists go through red lights consistently. Take the crossing that I use regulalry, outside London Bridge station opposite hays Wharf. Cyclists are always going through the red lights there, they are a menace and a danger.

Just get an air gun and use it while on the trainer, or on the treadmill. I'm a dang computer genius. That's what I started doing n the treadmill. I invented a new sport 10km/10m air pistol. The whole point of zwift is that it's more of a sport than a video game. you need to buy a real gun. Or at least play duck hunt while playing zwift.

Where I live, cyclists must stop, but once stopped, may proceed through the red light if the other light or the walk signal goes through two cycles while waiting. But that doesn't stop some cyclists from just blatantly blowing through the red lights and stop signs as if they don't apply. Stopping for red and for stop signs makes you stronger. A lot stronger.
