I think a 60 card version might be superior to the 40 card version. Neo Kaiser Seahorse, Sage, Maiden, Prayers, Bingo, Piri you 84.42% to open one of them (1-card starters). But this deck is also very easy to connect with Small World, which gives you >89% consistency if you consider 18+ non-starter monsters that can be banished. 3 Fuwaross, Ash, Mourner, Ogre, Veiler, Impermanence, Dominus Purge, Cross-out + 1 Called by gives you 94.06% chance to open non-engine. I also think your calculations on Bricks was a little off. 4 bricks in 40 cards gives you a 42.71% odds to open at least 1 of them. With 60 Cards, you can stay at 4 bricks (30.06%), but even having 6 bricks would be more consistent than the 4/40 version (42.09%)

@@King-gv4lg Yes absolutely you can do that. Basically the deck will be more consistent going first, but weaker going second because of a lower chance to open a hand trap. I think the deck is still very consistent without Piri Reis

These new supports have many playstyles, some opt for that and others opt for this one in the video. As of now its either people run the magia sifr combo which is this video, and others run the AFD Dragon Ravine combo, some even dont run magia and just spam spirit dragons. All are equally powerful, no one is above another which make blue eyes good now. I for one like sifr magia, ironically blue eyes is a better deck to run sifr with than stardust since I dont want my ulti spirit popping after doing its negate once and cant be revived again because it wasnt Synchro Summoned First. Plus it protects the field if true light pops so yeah, again all playstyles for blue eyes are at the same power level. We all play our own way

@@IyoMaestro Ravine is weaker because it turns all your 1.5 combos into 2.5 combos, because that combo actually requires 2 discards instead of just 1. Also, you can easily play Tyrant Dragon in this deck just take out S:P or Dis Pater Lastly, I've seen all of those combos. It okay to play the deck differently. I mentioned for example that you can play more starters, but you would only increase your consistency by 8%. I don't think those builds are optimal, but you can test my version out and see what you think.

Already playing 15 non engine like in this build means you'll brick with handtraps more often than not going first. 18 is not even worth mentioning. Just picture this: you open sage + a vanilla (or any non engine non extender) + 3 handtraps. You normal sage, he gets Imperm'd/Ashed. Your best play is then link to Spirit, search Mausoleum, dump vanilla and pass on it. Even if your opponent is not able to play against your 3 handtraps (assuming of course that each of these 3 are not HOPT like Ash, Mourner or Ghost Ogre), you start with vanilla + 3 handtraps while your opponent will start with 5 fresh cards to play through them. This scenario is pretty common and happens with any of the one 1 card combos (Maiden chokepoint is Ash on Prayers, Neo Sea Horse chokepoint is Ash on his effect or Imperm on Spirit). What most people don't understand is that these one card combos require you to actually have follow up if they get stopped. This deck relies too much on one card combos with HOPT stoppers that are completely hindered against any handtrap. For these reasons, you should maximize the chances of opening 2+ pieces of your combos, instead of just taking the Snake-Eyes route and playing half of your deck non engine. If your Sage gets stopped, you'll have Maiden in hand for follow up. If your Spirit gets stopped, you'll have Sage or Prayers. All of this ends if you open 2+ of the same handtrap and your one card combo gets stomped. Until this deck has an engine failsafe against handtraps, this is the most reliable way of playing.

Even though it's OPT, it's not bad to run 3 and see 2 of them in your hand because then it becomes discard fodder for Prayers which you always activate anyway. And this deck doesn't really have a lot of cards it can painlessly discard - mainly the 2 BEWD, BE Abyss, Chaos Max and True Light. So it's really not that bad to draw a 2nd one, thus I think 3 is actually fine for maximizing your consistency and giving you an extra chance of playing through hand traps.

Remember if it’s not really needed then having 2 or 3 can be good for eating people’s ashes so you can make more plays 😏

The fact that you can play 2 vanilla blue eyes in a competitive deck in 2024 should be more than enough 😂

Nothing stopping you from playing 3 however don't complain when you brick and don't force others how to build their deck either.
