72-100 is the reason this is a hard demon. especially the ending. i died to that spike to nerves tbh. would have been a fluke from 55 if i actually beat it (i would have died at the end lol)

@@krazybossyt8886 checked them out and. They are hard, yes. But the gameplay is simply not enjoyable. I saw 1 fatal flaw in each level regarding the gameplay. 1: Mirror portal spam is a big nono in level building. 2: bad use of moving objects.(The kind you would see in early 2.0) 3: orb ships need a constant pattern. Honorable mention: while multiple extreme demons incorporate portal transitions in their gameplay, it's usually not straight line transitions like the ones you have. Remember that practice makes perfect

@@wonderpunch4984 the bad gameplay is the point honestly. i spent nearly 2000 attempts on the first one simply because of the last straightfly. the second one was meant to represent horrible early 2.0 levels, and you definitely caught that lol. and the inconsistent orb pattern is just purposeful bad gameplay again lol.

@@krazybossyt8886 nope, a hard demon. Going for FFFFFF next wich is an insane. Reanimation is a medium demon but it's pretty long, good for nerve control though.

i just realized. didn’t know how stupid speedrun.com rules could be. if you can’t restart a level unlike every other mario game then that is just ridiculous, and if you time part of the ending cutscene, then that is also ridiculous, considering that no other mario games do that either.

1. the ending cutscene is timed since you lose time depending on how high you get on the flagpole 2. restart was done due to ease of timing and since some levels (all levels with text before you start) have cycle differences based on when you clear the text @@krazybossyt8886

⁠@@krazybossyt8886i saw your rant on src and i absolutely get your frusteration like i had 40+ runs turned invalid due to the timing change among other things but you have got to take it easier on the mod team You cant be mad at them for you failing to read the rules before doing a run. You also claim that some levels dont allow you to restart which is just... completely false? i dont know why you would claim that. ive personally retimed maybe 500+ runs in all sorts of different ways and can personally vouch that the current system is the best way to do it (with few exceptions that you need not worry about) timing runs from level entry is super annoying compared to level reset and fadeout is more consistent than pole touch while also adding another layer of skill for runs you mention that prior 2d marios were timed based on igt but the problem is that this game doesnt have igt and is instead timed to the frame overall you also were just extremely rude to the mods... in general it seems you forgot that these choices arent made randomly but rather were argued about for hours and hours before being implemented. The mods arent stupid (most of the time) you mentioned how the increased length means that switch clips cant be used and thats an argument i made to the mods back then too but honestly its better if they arent. having a good few seconds before level starts and after level ends is really helpful for various reasons I know its annoying but these decisions were all made for a reason and arent gonna change im sorry

@@eightohthreefilms 5th place is really easy, since nobody knows about this glitch really. once you get in the .3xx zone that's where the difficulty steps up a bit. i surprisingly went from .7 to .2 immediately, which is how i got my first world record on this.
