Katsu Sensei is truly great, but why go to Russia? Karate, and all martial arts for that matter, are above all else ethics, respect and values. The country bombing children's hospitals and playgrounds for 3 years straight already has shown it does not abide by the values of karate.

He used to answer a few people with similar questions, he said that we must never succumb to double standards. He said that at some point in time, he will visit Israel and the USA. Will it be any different? He also says that there is 2 sides to everything. The real budo way is to seek the truth and live by good principles. He also said that Russian people are good, politics has no place in the real world. He hopes for a change just like we do. Warm wishes for you 👍🙏

Honestly I think he comes off as arrogant, seriously your teaching Japanese pushups to a bunch of kids, then switch to 1 arm, you know they can't do that. It's easy to be the Tori and a big shot when you are in charge, but do you really need to show up a bunch of kids. I get more the vibe he is showing off rather than correcting the students. I don't know him personally but that's the vibe I'm getting off him.

Demonstrations and teaching come hand in hand, the way to increase the standard is to show a higher standard. Vibes can only be attained when you actually are in the presence of someone. He is a great teacher and people love him across the globe 🙏👍
