Although I can't prove it I suspect William Shatner found out about mlp because he wanted to check out what his friend and fellow star trek albeit from a different generation, cast member John De Lanci was voicing also I suspect the character Discord was based on not only Loki but Red X because they both are villains who never actually hurt anyone and just want to have fun, Tara strong provided her voice not only as Twilight in mlp but as Raven in in original teen titans. Other episodes obviously took influence from that show for example what about discord was remarkably similar to the teen titans episode fear itself; in both episodes Tara Strong's character Raven in teen titans Twilight in mlp have to admit a part of themselves they are denying exists exists. And the mlp episode a hearths warming tale is very much like the teen titans episode how long is forever. Both have friendship holidays called Blorthog in teen titans in both episodes the main characters need to realize the importance of their respective holidays.

I dig the Spanish dub of this episode, because there’s no Bronies events in NYC like East Harlem and the South Bronx as well as Bushwick in Brooklyn where they used to have Brony events to attend where they were showing Spanish dubs of the series. That also includes Puerto Rico where they had Brony events in places like San Juan where the Spanish dub of MLP was shown there.

Spike's real heroic deed in this episode, was not bringing the heart to the crowd it was when he saved Twilight from looking into the door of fear because he had to disobey her there to do what he knew was right, with the heart however he was just doing what Twilight told him it is way more honorable and takes a lot more courage to disobey a superior officer because you now it's the right thing to do than it is to just follow orders; besides if he hadn't have snapped her out of it she wouldn't have been able to do the work finding the heart for him to just use his legs to transport all because she told him to.

I am currently rewatching Mlp and I am enjoying it as much as when I was younger. My little brother watched some episodes with me I am currently on season 2 and my lil bro watched the first 2 episodes of the season with me. Which introduced Discord the bringer of chaos my little brother loves Discord so much idk why. But for me I cannot wait until I watch "A Canterlot Wedding" I'm so excited for it.

Wonder if Tara strong as a kid didn't. like the game keep away,so she appreciates her pony twilight getting angry about having her books full of crystals kept from her,cause her friends were turned to jerks by discord,and she can't. deal with it.
