@@allanbriggs9007 it’s so hard to argue with the ease of a diesel and generally not having to think about another thing you have to do such as refueling. I prefer driving an EV to a diesel in general but if I feel I have to think about charging a couple of times a week, it’s just making my to do list longer.

Definitely, mate. E bikes have changed my life for the better. This bike is a dark horse. Giant are not renowned for hyping their own stuff. The tech on this bike is crazy. I'm 3250 miles in on this bike. In fact, I've just got my first service quote today, after 8 months of buying it. This was the first time that Giant used a Shimano motor with one of their bikes. I've had this bike up mountains, and it climbs like a billy goat. Have a good one. Cheers.

Have to say this bike is truly epic. As Swazer says it’s really powerful as I found our when I ended up wheelying up an off-road hill when I set the assistance level too high I generally ride mine at level 1 and for big hills level 2. This leaves 3-5 for Everest

The speed limiter & cruise control use GPS location, to detect speed limits, the car does not read speed limit signs; so its not the fault of the car, its the GPS location thats not recorded accurately. Therefore, this will be the same for all cars with this system.
@TouringCar.9 ай бұрын
There are recorded incidents where the software has read the speed limit signs on trucks and slowed the car down, where the limit on the road was in fact higher for cars.

Research shows that the production of HVO is not sustainable at scale. There is a limited supply of Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and increased demand will require more reliance on unused oils such as Palm Oil. Research also shows that sources of UCO feedstock in the past may have been subject to fraud. A study by Transport and Environment, Europe’s umbrella organisation for sustainable non-governmental organisations found that around 80% of UCO feedstock that the EU imported in 2022 was suspected to have been “mislabelled” virgin palm oil. Increased demand for HVO has the potential to cause further risks of fraudulent activity. With regards to claims of lower emissions, they do not take into account the entire production process of UCO and the unintentional events they may cause (deforestation and peat destruction). Taking all these factors into account, the actual emissions could be just as bad or significantly higher than those produced by fossil fuels.
