Bohemian Rhapsody actually was Queens version of an opera, with different acts/sections, and the album was called "A night at the opera".

Billy Powell was hired to perform other duties for Lynyrd Skynyrd, and didn't even know he played the piano., nor that he was classically trained. That is, until one day they saw him by himself playing the instrument. Shortly thereafter he was the guy at the piano. Incredible music coming from his fingers. From this 82 year old guy, I so miss this generation of music.

No backing tracks were used. No autotune, no pitch correction. Pure musical genius from all band members and skills from their roadies and technicians.

Yes, smile! They had a 45 out, and one song is called step on me! The band was included in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie... PLEASE TELL ME YOU'VE SEEN IT...! And, they DIDN'T experiment with electronic music! If you read most of their first albums, up to the game, they say on the album somewhere around the credits, " no synths!"!

72,000 people in Wembley! And, there were no backing tracks! They NEVER, EVER use them, except for the middle of Bohemian Rhapsody! And, this was ABSOLUTELY The best performance at Wembley, but not the best live queen performance!

Disturbed is a heavy metal band from Chicago formed around 1994 and singer David Draiman joined in 1996. David had actually been a cantor at his synagogue in the past...to end up in heavy metal was a jump for sure. Then for this heavy metal band to come out with this remake of Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel...wow. The original meaning of the song (written during a time of a lot of unrest and change in the 1960s) was about people being unable to effectively communicate with each other, especially on an emotional level and kind of a warning of the effect if it didn't change. Fast forward to now and the meaning is even more profound and true today, and this version by Disturbed is driving that point (the music video is really good....but the intense emotionality of David's voice in this live performance is so much more). People have said that Paul Simon's version was the warning, and this song was the anger because no one listened. When they did this live performance, David was very very sick with flu, which is why he was sitting..was too sick to stand. His group had thought he shouldn't go on because he was so sick...but David said he was going on. To be able to sing and perform like this while so sick is a testament to his incredible and beautiful baritone voice.

Queen is/was a band, not just Freddie. All 4 members sang, wrote songs and performed on stage. They also were very political (as were most rock bands of the time) in their song writing. Hammer to Fall is about the cold war and the threat of nuclear annihilation by the soviet union, which was an actual, real threat after WWII. . This concert has been called the best rock concert ever done, and I don't disagree.
