Did this in Aug 2022 but at night. It was an awesome ride captured on GoPro and wife freaking out! Beautiful view at night also. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment. My wife also freaked out, when she normally doesn’t on gondola type rides. I videotaped her as well, but she would’ve killed me if I put it on KZbin.

I don't know anything about Jerry Jenkins. In looking around outside there does not seem to be any activity other than what is associated with the cruises, but I'm not sure beyond that. Very interesting you worked on it.

@@travelingwiththewilcoxs2908 I went to see the Price is Right when it was being hosted by Bob Barker in autumn, and when he took questions from the audience, I asked him what he did the previous summer, and he said that he had gone to all the states in the U.S., but his last one was Alaska; so he went on a cruise and he said he never realized he had saved the best for last. You should really fix this, or better yet delete it. This is ONE cruise ship dock, which is privately owned by NCL and a private owner. The original cruise ship docks remain in downtown Ketchikan and all ships are able to dock there. Over 40 large and smaller ships will call Ketchikan this year at the docks in downtown Ketchikan, making over 600 stops in downtown proper.

It is a typical small island. Things like the funky buses are more for the tourists than anything else. Very nice people.

The snow flakes came from Walmart, same as the other lights on the top part of the garage. I have not seen them in the last year or so though

How much per night, I really like the German-Swiss feel and decor, looks very fancy and nice, but I bet it is very expensive 👍

It was the most interesting hotel we have ever stayed at. The stay was part of a train tour we took through Switzerland so I don't know what the price was. I looked up a couple of dates and the rooms can be from $300 to $600 a night so very pricey.

The best I can figure out is that the larger cruise ships have to dock there vs right downtown. There was another ship in that was downtown. I don't think there was room for us.
