I am continuously amazed and forever grateful at how much God loves me. I have been separated from Christ my whole life but he never gave up on me. When I look back over the last 50 years of my life I realize He was always there for me. It was I who was never there for Him. But he never gave up on me. He has tried to reach me both through unimaginable love and searing tortuous pain. I have used drugs as a crutch for my fear and pain. But no more. I have been brought to my knees through the pain of losing my pet cat angels who were undeniably sent to me by God to teach me what the true love of Christ is. They have been a constant blessing and source of pure love in my empty life. But now here I am, 52 years old, alone, sad, and scared. I want God and my cats to know that what they did for me was not in vain. That they saved me. So here I am on the start of my new journey with Christ. But for now I'm still in so much pain. The kind of pain that clarifies the sole and let's you realize exactly what is most important in life, LOVE!!!. But I won't go back. I want to live the rest of my life for the will of God. I want to one day meet Jesus face to face and be able to look him in the eye with no shame.
