Thanks to all who are part of and who support the Earlville Community Historical Society. The efforts put forth are invaluable in helping to preserve and support the history of an extraordinary community that many have lived within and/or experienced. On this 2024 Veterans Day, I salute all those involved in creating such a special addition to an already amazing museum and to the tribute to veterans this video provides. I spent my childhood growing up in Earlville, leaving for military service immediately following my graduation from high school in 1971. This video was a reminder of those individuals and families who contributed and built upon a community which has helped guide me throughout my adulthood. Many thanks to the Earlville Community Historical Society in putting together, not only a very entertaining and historical video, but one which provides a bit of insight as to some who have had an impact in helping shape Earville’s history. My visits to Earlville may have been few and far between these past decades, but my thoughts of growing up there are never far away in my mind. Go Raiders!
