This video is phenomenal! if the this series gets continued I’d watch it day one, and if not that’s okay too. The 90s vibes are on point!

This is really good and I hope we get more someday. I like when analog horror doesn’t rely on cheesy jumpscares and distorted faces

The absolute mix of analog and digital horror is immensely amazing and creepily done.

This is really neat! The attention to detail here is incredible. All of these segments (the early 2000s video intro, the actual Nightwatch tape) feel like they came from the time period they're trying to emulate. Awesome work!

Very interesting and nicely done! I ended up having a strange nightmare from it too.

This looks like it would be real. That’s saying a lot. The setup tape looks like one you would get with 90s software, the app itself looks very in character for the era. The ending… yikes. That’s real horror.

If i had one nickel for every analog/digital horror series that was extremely promising and had the potential to be the big names of AH/DH but hasnt uploaded in months i would have enough to buy a fucking coke

Love the vibe of this a ton! The mixed media approach was all super cool and felt really authentic to each medium it was trying to represent!

This is absolutely incredible! First off, it's got some of the most authentic editing and music I've ever seen, and second, it was genuinely scary and I never had to suspend my disbelief like I do with many other analog/digital horror videos. This is beyond refreshing and I'm stoked to see what else you make in the future.

Love the time you took to actually convert it to a VHS tape. And especially loved the attention to detail at 5:59 where it looked like something to the effect of the user getting so scared of what was going on with the security system his finger slipped to the I key when typing that command, resulting in the error.

I will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart to any analog horror series that ACTUALLY feels like it was made on a VHS tape. There are way too many analog horror creators who would just lazily slap a generic vhs filter on their videos and call it a day. This is clearly not one of those videos.

Man, between this and Midwest Angelica, it's crazy how many criminally obscure yet excellent analog horror videos there are. It does take a while for the stuff to start, but man is it good when it does. There are a ton of great little moments in the camera section. With the person starting to type one mic command only to switch to another after the time he tried earlier failed, to actually showing visible panic with the typo on the keyboard, it's great. It's incredible how much you can show with just text and basic old school DOS graphics.

I love when all of the sensors start freaking out and the person who is operating the security system gets scared, which is reflected by their hasty attempt to type "status all" but makes a typo because they're panicked. It's a small detail, but damn, it adds a lot to this already creepy and intriguing pilot episode. You've hooked me in.

What I haven't seen anyone talk about: Why does this person have their own bunker? They seem like buying this security system is purely out of fear... like they already know something's coming. beautiful recreation of early Windows software. My only critique would be that software like this doesn't make that many beeps. They would likely just make the PC's built in piezo to chirp, but some creative liberties taken definitely enhanced the experience! Also some technical jargon in the VHS would've helped make it seem more authentic, but honestly, 10/10.

Nice video! You had me for a while lol. I knew something was up when it played that boot up sound. While there were audio cards that could do that, it was more likely that something like this would use the PC speaker

@alansmithee419 Жыл бұрын
I thought that was referring to the part of the video showing it being used by someone? Like they didn't put that footage in the video, and it wasn't on the VHS, it just turned up when they put the video together to upload it.
