There are many unique features to RWARB that keeps taking people to watch and rewatch and never lets the film become old or seem hackneyed. This is a film of hope and love and social progress, made with heart and love by all concerned. That shows and will never date. But since this film was made, the world has become a darker place, stealing and threatening freedoms and enlightenment. So as time goes on RWARB becomes a lighter, brighter and ever deeper beacon of hope and love and light in the world. And this is a flame to be held and cherished and fanned ever brighter. For this film is heart and hope and humanity, a unique expression of inspiration and joy and of a kinder and wiser future.

I really enjoyed the doc on Amazon. But I think it's too bad that the band doesn't seem to appreciate their place in history and freedom in the eastern block. Maybe they gave up some fame and fortune, but they really helped set people free. Abbie Hoffman or those a-holes at Rolling Stone never did anything for anyone but themselves. Many gave their lives over there and accomplished less. They should be proud, not bitter, and I'm a little disappointed that they don't seem to see that. Dealt a bad hand then they chose to show a little courage. They stood tall when everyone around them stumbled. But tell me how a dumb putz like David Wild keeps showing up spewing high school inanities in these rock docs. Man, this guy never has anything to say except the obvious.

It's actually incredible that it wasn't just in the film's script that Alex was boycotted in the casting of the actors. Henry being the priority in the lineup is crazy where he is so far from Alex's real story where he narrates the book from beginning to end nothing we know about Henry is not something Alex was interested in knowing or was in his presence and we go back to the film with all the changes Alex literally made and if we look at Henry in the film, he has all the actions identical to the book, even scenes that were Alex's were given to Herry, it's noticeable now. you Matt put a target on Taylor's back by making all these baseless changes and what you did to Alex spilled over onto the actor even though he had no guilt about it he was just doing his job and what was requested by law and the script was weak and meaningless luck wow, at least TZP is a lover of the book and supported Alex in the film from beginning to end even with scenes taken from his matt ass. I sincerely hope that it learned from its damn mistakes and gives a worthy sequel because thinking that it did a good job here is insane. and you don't want to publicize the deleted scenes because these scenes would probably be scenes that would give a new look to the film without boycotts for one of the protagonists I will never forget that you changed the palace scene leaving Henry identical to the book and Alex with a script taken from your ass and where was that what most attacked tzp due to your mistake and stupidity

Now I need to go back to the book, I think that you are saying the book was written principally from “Alex’s” point of view and the “Henry” was given lines and scenes that in the book Alex narrated. I missed the boycott? What the Actors Strike? When adapting a book you have to bring a book to life visually, smoosh some narratives chop some sub plots etc. I don’t think there was any hidden agenda but designed to elide scenes with Alex. Taylor and Nick are both so good with a great support cast, the chemistry and interplay is fantastic. we have all seen movies adapted from print that we know aren't as good as the book but in this case the story came to life, vibrant and funny and somehow despite the deep fantasy aspect (Sorry Meagan and Harry) real.

@@JamesJones-tt9sf Read again what I wrote. Alex went through all the changes in his story, Henry is all there, so you don't see this as a boycott says a lot, doesn't it?

What a delightful and informative interview. Warm hearted, honest, and humorous. Looking back, it reveals what a milestone in movie making RWARB has become, both from the PoV of creatives and audiences alike. This interview shows many things; what a thoroughly nice man Matthew Lopez is - and that nice guys sometimes win. That heart and hope wins out over prejudice and nit picking, that this is a film made by a team of talented and properly motivated creatives and gave a showcase to some wonderfully talented actors at the top of their game. And who all deserve, for the most human and humane reasons, as well as cinematic ones, to win every award going.

They both did an amazing job. Fallout as an IP is a property that could easily be badly mishandled. Particularly the balance between drama, action and comedy. Too much or too little of any of those three elements and the result wouldn't feel like Fallout. The fact that they managed to find and maintain such a tricky balance was nothing short of impressive. Greatly looking forward to what they bring to season 2. I was also very impressed by the fact that they were able to make some of the supporting characters more interesting than you might expect (I was genuinely blown away by how much I liked following Norm's PoV).

the plotline is almost to be modern like in the 16th century because these kind of things is still happen in this modern world but that is interesting because this Jacobean era is not famously told in history eventhough it was dramatize in this series, all evidence point to that. Jacobean era history should be told more because even though it was only around 20+ years, a lot of things happen during this time like the Shakespeare literature. The acting in this series also is phenomenal and the production value is very high. STARZ should promote is series more for the Emmy's because it deserved some recognition. I really hope Sky will do same for BAFTA next year.

This Documentary "What the Hell Happened to Blood, Sweat & Tears? " is a MUST see for ANY Classic Rock Lovers. I have an extensive knowledge of Classic Rock and I NEVER Knew this story. I always thought Blood, Sweat and Tears broke up because David Clayton Thomas wanted to go solo. NOT TRUE. Don't Miss this one. BTW: If you have an excellent Library System in your area, check them out. I was able to watch this documentary for FREE, Thanks to my Local Library carrying this DVD. If your Library Doesn't carry it, ask them to.

From 21:55 - 22:15 Maybe a just a little bit of gay panic from Reese... when Julianna says that "laura is falling in love with Reece " and then Reece shreeking "I'M BRADLEY!!!" after Julianna says that "i am falling in love with you Reece "Just a little baby bit.... But gotta admit that hair tuck at 22:09 from Reece was really cute! She was also making really cute... kinda flirty slight glances and faces from 1:07 - 1:16 but she also makes them basically anytime Julianna said ANYTHING!

31:00 What Zerbino says is for me the most important message of the film and the experience they had. Unlike in most American survival films and series, where there are always power struggles and selfish and individualistic attitudes (does the capitalist ideology that governs their culture have anything to do with it?), in this one we see a group of young people organizing and supporting each other in the greatest adversity.

The best movie is Snow Society but not always win the best, this awards are politic too. Anatomy of a Fall is really overrated by critics, it is not a bad movie but it is not excellent, almost not good either. It is very static and with an unfortunate ending. And it's not original, decades ago films like this were made, when I saw it, in my head they were playing films that inspired them. And the film still won at the Baftas. So it could be that "In the Zone of Interest" wins for political reasons
