I thought it was a warm bath that lowered blood pressure by dilating blood vessels? Thank you for sharing

I looked into not wearing a shirt underneath my suit as well. I’ll try it for the first time tomorrow.

Need to cool your water down to around 40° bruthuh 😜 Move around every 20 seconds to break up the thermal layer 👍 Make aure your palms are in the water and really cool your body down.

Cold plunge always makes me so tired; I have never felt the “rush” or “surge of energy” I go right to sleep just like you do. I don’t understand how freezing cold makes people feel so energized

Wow, I hope I can work up to that. Just did my first cold plunge, 2 minutes at 53F and I was shivering. Then 20 minutes in the sauna at 200F which is an easy near daily routine for me. I have the heat/cold tolerance of a south Texas boy.

HUGE question: does the sauna suit affect the calories burned in the apple watch? Let's say a jog marks 200 cal without the sauna suit. If I wore the suit would this number increase?
@EnduranceHour
@EnduranceHour Ай бұрын
Well, it’s based on heart rate and the suit increases heart rate, so I’d say yes!

I've done something to my knee cycling. I think it's my quad on the left, above my knee cap. It only happens after 30 minutes of riding on a sprint run. Then I'm done for the day. It's putting me out of the game until the next day! It's not sore when walking, etc., only when pushing hard on hill climbs or sprints. Do you think one of these would help? I'm recently back to cycling, so my muscles will be weak right now, but any suggestions will go a long way. Thanks!

I do stationary bike or rowing afterwards for 20-30mins. That way I get in about 3 hours of cardio every week and it's self motivating because I want to warm up

Awesome techniques. I love the fast interval sprints. I do these on the Assault bike. Twenty-second sprints and then a complete stop to rest. Seven reps of this in 15 minutes or so, and I'm dead (usually at the end of a weight training workout). On the advanced Peleton rides, do you find the competition to be pretty solid?

@Burritosarebetterthantacos cheap ones fall apart and tear at the seams, you really get what you pay for. Chris heria makes a really good one but it goes up to 40 and costs just as much. If you want something you'll have to replace in 2 years or less go ahead with a fitness gear or some trash like that. Dip belts are a good cheaper alternative though, 40 or less for the belt then just use plates

Great video; thank you, Coach Wendy. I have recently bought Form Googles. That is why I can see all my efforts over the app. My question is, despite my best efforts, I haven't managed to stabilise my stroke length and stroke rate yet. I do all the drills with paddles, fins, pull buoys, and a forearm fulcrum. But no improvements yet.

Susanna Søberg is the definitive expert. She says anything below 60° for at least 11 minutes per week. I do 45° for 4 minutes a day, and i plunge daily. I'm also in a cold ambient temperature environment in the mountains. For me 4 minutes daily at 45° is plenty.
