Hi. Thank u. We went there with no tickets. And bought tickets for the cable car there when we arrived. We did not do boat ride. Im sure u get tickets when ur ther. Or maybe nowadays there exist online tickets

Hi. There is mass in the chapel. It is open for viewing from 10am to 12 noon. Then 2pm to 6pm. For those staying in the site, it is open from 9am to 10pm. Pls check their website for updates.

Has anyone noticed that the niche was that high up. I thought Bernadette kissed her feet how could she reach she was approx 4.11 no way could she reach that height. It may be for catholics but Mary was a Jew so was Christ. I may pop over to look at this as a fellow Jew.

If they’re so Holy why the wax? Both Padre Pio And Saint Bernadette both have wax. Their shells should have flesh that’s still alive. If un corrupted why the false hood of it.

They had to make a wax replica true to photographs of her face because when they first exhumed her body in 1909 the Sisters washed her body which they should not have done because when they re-interred her she was placed in a hot damp masuleum which creates carbon and carbon darkened her eyes, when they re-exhumed her body again they did not want to present her that way so a face mask was made but that is what she looked like and her internal organs and muscles did not decompose, placed in that damp environment she should have been only bones, she remains incorrupt.

Have been in Lourdes for 5 times as a volonteer male nurse. It was an impressive experience. Now I live part time in the Morvan region about 80 kms from Nevers so a visited the place where she lived and saw her grave. Mission complete.
