As a graphic designer, I use to do photo restoration and colorising and to be fair I don't do that side anymore. There are apps which personally I still can do a better job, allows people to use AI to get a result they're happy with enough, without any skill. This is the thing this video completely neglects, if you want create a piece of art like a landscape or a photo real portrait, you have to learn the skills and the time to develop that level of artistry. AI Art isn't creative if you're an artist, anybody can write ideas down but getting AI to make something out of it isn't creative and isn't art. This is why I think it's important that children aren't taught or exposed to AI art and how to use it, because it's all about mindset. Growing up I wanted to do learn to do the things I could do. That came from time, experimenting, learning and develop the skills I need. If you become reliant on something to do something for you, that you could do yourself 100%. You develop laziness and the inability to get the motivation to learn the skills yourself to do that task. Painting and Photography are artistic skills that a person must develop to become good at, AI Art doesn't take any skill at all, just an idea and input of words in a prompt that 99% of people can do without any knowledge or understanding of art. The biggest issue is that too many people use AI to create art nowadays, that it actually is starting to cloud original artworks that are put on sites. I say if you want to be creative, learn the skills and create yourself that is where REAL creativity lies.

I keep saying i hate social media with all my heart and soul and I do but not youtube, I love youtube so fucking much, I don't know life without it and I cannot leave it cause I also do yoga with it, meditate with it, study maths and physics with it, practice german with it, it's the most useful thing on the entire internet for me but damn it is fucking addictive also

I noticed how I couldn't get rid of youtube entirely because of school and learning, so instead of getting rid of it completly, I now only use it on a computer (not mobile) and use the "distraction free youtube" extention on chrome. Best extention ever! Went from 4 hours of yt/day to only 10-20 mins/day!

2:40 I understand the reasoning behind these watermarks but I don’t think flagging videos would be a good idea. In some cases it might work but I dont trust youtube moderator’s judgement.

Damnnnn this would make the whole experience on youtube so much better. And the customizable search is an awesome idea because I usually watch motivational shit or songs while working out. Some podcasts while driving. Some educational stuff otherwise and relaxing no brainer entertaining videos while eating and most of the time, I just find myself scrolling and scrolling. I get nothing from new creators on the home page, even on the search it's pretty bad. Your solutions are sooo good.

Monthly viewers would be great alongside sub count, though will definitely take a toll on creator mental health- but interesting nonetheless Also, removing views on homepage would be absolutely insane, but I'm in favor. Remove the bias and bring back the "broadcast yourself" feeling

yes i have that scrolling issue on the home page too lol i just scroll forever sometimes. also i upvote the “remove views” idea from the home page. i tried it out once to ignore them mentally and ended up clicking some videos i probs wouldn’t have clicked
