Great tutorial, Double Dutch Crochet. Looking forward to your next upload! I smashed that thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the fantastic work! Have you considered demonstrating how to adapt this ribbed border technique for different yarn weights and project types?

I just learned a few basic stitches two days ago and have never made anything before. I want to start this one as my first project, but afraid I might run into a stitch I can’t figure out and bail. What stitches do you use for the entire project?

This is why it's been great learning how to crochet on KZbin! I LOVE how you connected that 1st row together. I always slip stitch into the 1st dc and NOT INTO the chain. It looks so much cleaner. Slip stitching into the top of the chain leaves gaps and then you've got no good space to start your next section of three dc because then you're in the middle of a section. You just added a slip stitch over to the next set of chains. It looks so much better! Also, love that you decreased down to 2 dc and chain 1 on the corners. Pat yourself on the back woman!! ❤🎉❤🎉

I'm not a beginning, but like watching tips to see how others do it. For the eye placement, easy way is to place them halfway down the head horizontally and then divide the head into thirds vertically. I also suggest sewing on the muzzle (if a piece has it) with the eyes in place WITHOUT the back on. Then you can move them over a stitch if needed. Also if you have bodies that are round (ie not asymmetrical), attach it to the head BEFORE attaching the arms, legs and tail.

Yes!! You just pull it out at the end and you won’t even know it was there! Just use a smaller weight yarn than what you are crocheting with !

Thank you for explaining that you have to go back into the same stich and single crochet again. So many tutorials just say do two single crochets and it took so long to understand it has to be in the same hole in order to increase 😅
