As I am studying cloud right now. Just going to give my MD 102. My teacher told me we'll give MS102 and SC 300 together because it goes with both. Also, he told us to use the simulator.

MD 102 was a part of previous M365 admin certification ( MS 100 + MS 101 ) but then they removed it and brought MS 102. But yeah these three certs will cover everything there is to M365 for sure.

Yes, I work on M365 and Azure VDI projects and this certification helps a lot with the Entra ID side of things.

The first option only allows you to have one recipient. If it's two or more than you either have to make a rule ( option 2 ) or used the security group method.

I need to remove one custom domain from one tenant and add it to new tenant. How to achieve this. I need all users mailboxes and all one drive data in new tenant? Please advice

Easiest approach if you want to retain the users data is to just add the new custom domain in existing tenant and update the user names of all the users. If you want to setup a new tenant and then move the data to it from old tenant, then you gonna have to do migration using third party tools.

No, they will have to use the new password as soon as you run the PowerShell command for it. Logged in user will stay logged in but to log back in again, they will need to provide new password, that you reset to.

This particular cert is an odd one as it alone will not get a job like MS-102 or MS-100+MS101 or AZ-104 & AZ-140 will. SC-300 helps you learn AzureAD, now called EntraID, stuff which is a part of both M365 and Azure and jobs related to them.

Even if you spend months working on live environment with Azure AD there are some settings you will never need (depends on your setup ofc). All written exams need you to fully understand all components of the subject so solving example tests is essential. Make a question bank for your self and go for them at leas 4-5 times. When you do that you'll not just pass the test but you'll learn great deal of things about the system.

What about the single entry that you originally had under the manage email forwarding? Do you still leave the option for "forward all email sent to this mailbox"? and what about the "forward to an external email address" that I initially had one entry for?

If I understand you correctly, the answer is yes both one to one and exchange rule will work at same time. But if are creating a rule then one to one is kind of redundant. You can uses the one to one forwarding option for externally to, providing they don’t have filters that might be blocking it

What if i want to bypass my all member email list ! Like I actually add 20 distribution list ! In each distribution i add 1000 member email . But my message on member email is going spam 70% ! how long from start to finsh did it take you to learn sc-300? how many hours a day for how long was sufficient to get through your resources? do you take notes or simply commit to memory by watching?

Good question. So, it took me 2 months from the day I saw this exam on Microsoft's website to passing it. I would usually study for an hour on weekdays and then practice some of the concepts with labs during weekends( 1-2 hours ). I took very little notes( approx. 1-2 MS word pages ) for some of the terminologies and some factual data to prepare for the exam questions. * I already had some experience with azure active directory. So the amount of time it would take you to go though all the material really depends on where you are at in your IT journey. ** I was not studying everyday ( 4-5 days a week on average ).

Hi Shanil - I did not get any questions on Powershell from what I remember. However, I would suggest learning how to setup/connecting to O365 & azure module and doing basic user creation/modification practice. However, there was one multiple choice on identifying correct Azure AD sync command that should be run on on-premises server.
