My hero and influence as a kid. I'm also a Bears fan. The first time I saw Singletary play, I thought he was the second coming of Willie Lanier. I'm sure Singletary would be happy to be compared to Willie.

This team was curse for 50 years and they broke their curse by becoming a dynasty, NO TEAM in sports have been curse for so long and became a dynasty if anything it was the other way around, 50’s Browns & Lions were a dynasty and suck today, the 1960’s Maple Leaf, 1980’s Edmonton Oilers, the 1990’s Bulls and they all have long championship droughts.

Great video, and I know you were only including playoff losses, but one loss that could have been included was the game against the Raiders on the last week of the 1999 season. A win would have secured a playoff berth and the AFC West. Rich Gannon, who backed up Elvis Grbac during his time in Kansas City, carved up the defense in a shootout for the ages. Grbac, to his credit, played one of the best games of his career. But it wasn't enough as in OT Joe Nedney nailed a 33-yard FG to end the 1999 season for the Chiefs. Oh, and just to turn up the heartbreak meter, this was the final game of the life and career of Derrick Thomas.
@petrofor34308 ай бұрын
Definitely could’ve been ! I was sticking to just the playoff losses too. 2011 vs the raiders could’ve made it too. Cost the chiefs the division

THAT WAS THE GREATEST ERA FOR THE MLB. IN ADDITION TO THESE 4 THERE WAS RAY NITCHKE, LEEROY JORDAN, BILL BERGEY, RANDY GRADISHAW, JACK LAMBERT. MAN OH MAN❗I STUDIED THESE MLB'S AS THEY WERE MY FAVORITES ON THE FIELD. LIKE THE DINOSAURS, THEY'RE EXTINCT NOW. I RECOMMEND MIKE CURTIS' AUTOBIOGRAPHY "KEEP OFF MY TURF".. EXCELENT BOOK. HE WAS MY ALLTIME FAVORITE BALLPLAYER. I HAVE BUTKUS' 2 BOOKS, AND NITCHKES TOO. ALL👍👍 THANX FOR TAKING ME BACK WITH YOUR COMMENT.
