Looks great. I do have a question, typically sleeping mats with an R value higher than 5 are for freezing weather. This DeepSleep has an R value of 18. Would that not prevent some heat loss in the warmer nights of spring or summer making it too warm for those seasons? Thanks

Are you Homeless? Why would you sleep in a Bronco? Tents are cheap! Are you afraid of a Boogey man if you sleep in a tent? Do you lock the doors when sleeping? You know, if ground tents were dangerous they wouldn't sell them. Does your boyfriend sleep next to you or does he have his own bronco? Did you test out the mattress overnight in your driveway before going out in the WILD?

Dumb post. You hear everything in a tent, and there’s zero insulation. Being in an insulated vehicle with some sound proofing, and being off the ground has its advantages.

Thanks for making this video. I was looking at this mount and wondering if both screw holes lined up. It is a shame that there is not a manufacturer that makes a direct mount FOR the Bronco. Everything I see online is for Jeeps, and they may work for a Bronco. I have a direct mount for my Jeep that screws into the frame (both holes) and this is the only way to go. Well done video and comments.

great informative video. i was wondering if the mattresses hold air well (especially if inflated to a firmer setting). also, if you just let them self inflate, is it firm enough to not feel like you are sleeping on a hard ground? thank you.

Using a hair dryer (I’m not ever going to admit where I got the hair dryer, and tactically plan such use when SO is out of the house) to warm the glue might help remove the factory liner. A heat gun is much more SO approved, and made for garage use, but might be a little too hot.

Try using pipe insulation the foam tube type to fill the vacant space you were showing. Just cut the length you need and press it into the space. It will fill the space without warping it

Wondering if you go overlanding and sleep in the car, you have to put your stuff outside of the car. But it's not safe to leave your stuff out there.

I wonder how engine heat is affected. If the liner absorbs it rather than the hood without a liner directing heat back at engine.

A quick google will find them. I very much agree that a link would be helpful. Some light editing of the pushing the seats forward, etc…would also be better for the channel. I looking forward to more products. Providing links is pretty much standard for a review channel.

Nice easy mod. So what is the conclusion after using it for a few weeks? Still using it and holding up to impacts while being rattle free? Was thinking it would be useful to fit more in there since I have some wasted space at the top.

Try using a heat gun to soften the adhesive making it easier to pull away without stressing it and making the edges wavey

Really sucks that the back seats don’t fold completely flat. I want a bronco super bad, but it seems like the explorer is hands down the better buy as far as a ford SUV is concerned.

I sound deadened my doors, cargo area and flooring. Huge difference and I have a soft top which is noisier than the hard top.

Yep. The pads are reversible so they can be used on either side.

No. This product is made specifically for the increased interior dimensions of the 4 door.

Great video! THX! Was interested in a hood liner myself. To address the plug that was too long for the hood adhesive build up blocking the one hole, just clip off a bit of the plug end (the pointed end) as it will still work, and go into hole further. Hood liners also help with engine warm up, and reduce ice build up on hood in winter, melting snow etc., as it provides some insulation.

About how long does it take do both inflate and deflate the large pads?

If you're using an air pump, Inflate maybe 5 min per pad doing everything I showed in the video. Deflate and put away maybe 8 min per pad. The self inflate feature takes too much time to be useful in my opinion. I could maybe see just opening the valves and setting up the rest of camp and coming back in 15 min. But even then I still like to top off the mattress with the air pump so what's the point.
