I saw Daryle at an impromptu show at a local irish pub that just happened to be between two other gigs, so it was booked last-minute. I knew who he was but had never seen him live and I was blown away. It was this same band. Just over a year later, he would be found dead on his own bedroom floor, the apparent victim of a blood clot. What a terrible loss for family, loved ones and country music. He is sorely missed.
