Compared to stock, how much louder was it when you upgraded to the 468 cam? Im looking at cams, 468 suits my riding style, just a little held back due to noise (don’t want it roaring in my ears on the long runs)
@marvelharris954012 күн бұрын
Its not obnoxious, it sounds about as loud as the old evo's... I had one complaint, from a neighbor, leaving at 0700 after getting this cam installed lol. Overall, you will be pleased with this cam.

Do you have any build specs on this build? Frame and fork perhaps ?
Just stumbled across your channel. I really am enjoying the builds on the Buells Im seeing in here. I myself have been at it with Harleys professionally now for almost 25 years. I have an S1 and was wondering. Who offers this frame ? Thank you for your time and the great content. Lee

I put a set of SVT Bone Shakers on my 2019 CVO Road Glide and they sounded deep and not too loud. I switched to the Khrome Werks 4.5 and now I hate I made the change. SVT are a quiet secret not to many bikers know about.👍🏾

Well, I'll predicate this comment on "to each his own". This is certainly a nice bike but not my taste. We all know how much the sportster is looked down upon by big twin enthusiasts, especially 883's but I'm glad yours got recognized for all your skills by all. I don't look down as having owned my my first HD as an 883 which I was going to convert to a 1200 until I bought my '97 Softail custom. Anywho, I like what you did except the skinny ass tires. Boardtracks don't exist anymore and that make this bike irrelevant. Never liiked the 130 tires on my 883 OR my Softail. HD finally realized this later on and is what I love about what you've done with Buell's. Even Buell knew that at least a 160 was needed. 180 -200 should have been the minimum, IMHO. Love the springer and paint though. Peanut tank may be appropriate, but maybe not.... Another nice build by you and ER obviously agreed so what do I know!? LOL...Peace out Brother.

Steve bike looks amazing. I could see some great effort and thoughts went into this build. Sadly it is much in life like getting jobs often it is not what you know but, who. If this same bike had been built by someone getting publicized all over this bike would have made it's way to barrett jackson auction and sold for way more money.

Wow! Another great build by you. I'm so jealous. Glad I found your channel here so I subscribed and I of course liked. Your the only one I know of that realizes the potential of these Buell swaps/mods. Most don't know that these 1200's put out 101hp from Buell which was almost double of a stock 1200 factory sporty for '99. Hope you get more subs!

Nice Bike! I've got a '99 Buell X1 in storage. Still mostly stock but I bought a rigid frame from a company called red baron around 2009? Never did what I wanted when I moved back down to SFL. 2010. Frame is still up in MA in the old mans garage. Your bike is almost exactly what I wanted to do so Thank You for the inspiration! Sad part is I live in a condo and can't have a bike here sooo I'm kinda screwed. Old lady is reluctant about it as well after seeing/hearing about so many bikers dying with the way these A@@holes drive down here in Broward. Not sure what I'm going to do but inspired buy you. Thanks again brother.

Bike is beautiful but still hurts to see such a clean Buell go away. It is no XB but time is slowly taking all of them away. Letting them go was Harley's worst decision ever. Both companies would be in a different place now if they kept it going. They were doing great things
