Thanks for the video. When should I consider long term analysis? Coz Whenever I perform long term analysis, (i count the partition wall loads beside the live load and super dead), found much conservative values ( thickness is much higher) for the slab if I compare it to the deflection limit value L/240.

Sir it has been seen in video that while checking concrete preference, consider P-Delta done? is selected as yes which is black in colour that means it changed by the user if we run P-Delta analysis then ETABS should consider that by default right?

@@hirendesai5634 Property modifiers are given for lateral forces.. For vertical deflection it is not required. We are already considering time-dependent behaviour of the section.

Very Good knowledge sharing video sir. Can you just tell that is it ok to apply lowerbound and upperbound property modifiers to basement top slab and peripheral retaining wall only? Or it is required to apply for all basement level slabs?... Also, is it ok to take only basement top slab as a semi-rigid diaphragm and all below floors as a rigid diaphragm?

Good presentation of modelling design. Create an envelope for serviceability and strength load combinations . Just u have defined individual load cases. In loadcase details initially you have taken reduced LL of 25% once again you have defined mass ratio for LL of 0.25. No need to manually reduce LL. Actuall need to consider and if we define it in mass it will calculate seismic weight of building automatically.

For example if we have column 450x450 and beams 300x450 when modeling in etabs for in boundary area of plan in etabs that beam is going to rest on middle of column can we do insertion for that or we keep that as its but will change in plan while creating drawing...

The efforts generated by the spectrum in the structure are absolute values, which cannot be combined with gravitational loads (which have a sign convention according to the direction of the force). How can you give a sign to the forces generated by the spectrum and be able to combine them with gravitational charges and so on?
