As a Yankees fan, I was afraid Les Expos would have been the one team that would have beaten us in 1994. You guys were hitting your stride right when the strike started; you would’ve won the NL East by at least 10 - 15 games if the strike never happened.

Getting a team in the frontier League could be a really good step in terms of bringing a team back to Montreal. They need to draw well once a team is formed. There is talk about the Frontier League getting a new team in Montreal.

Watched him back in the day catching for the expos with mom and dad. Developed a big crush on Gary..for some reason he's literally the only player I remember on the team from back then. I even had a lil thing for The mascot up Youppi. Maybe I should get some therapy?😮

My worst nightmare almost came true when the Buffalo Bills were about to relocate about 10 years ago. My heart goes out to all fans of the Expos, Nordiques, Thrashers, Coyotes, SuperSonics, Houston Oilers, etc. Your teams will always be loved and remembered. I wish all of your owners would have done better for you fans.

Yep . I still have my ticket stub from when Rose got his record ( everyone played hookey on opening day ) i got the stub from the All Star game and the free batting practice the day before . You should check out the book . The Expos Inside out by Dan Turner. He discusses in detail why everyone in Baseball had the Expos taking it all in 82 83. Everyone except Mike Schmidt . Little known answer - it all changed when they got rid of Rodney Scott
