When you need to remove the O2 sensor there is an approach that someone showed me that is not at all obvious. Deffo get the deep socket with the gap in the side to allow the O2 sensor to protrude and use a breaker bar. The wiring part of the O2 sensor is a two stage removal. One side you need to easily unclip a connector ( side furthest away from the DPF ) and then you slide the other part of the O2 sensor towards you for removal. I was ages trying to figure out how this part perhaps unclipped in some way but slides on and off towards/away from you on a plastic housing. Wish I'd known that ages ago as would have made life easy.

If you are going to be doing this , use ct1 silicone adhesive, trust me , it's resistant to everything and I mean everything, it can set under water too . Just leave it 24 hours to completely cure

I never seperated the blade holder, slide out the blade from holder and inserted new one back in. Do not mess with the hexbolts (two) only the bolts that hold in the blade holder in the cilinder. Also you will notice two notches where the hexbolts left an impression in the aluminium cilinder; please note that they need to align perfectly with those indents when replacing the blade holder. This way you can almost be sure of the correct blade height.
