It definitely is freedom thankfully. We needed to get off the roller coaster of life for a while. This is our 7th season now!

Do you have children? What was your original plan for retirement? Was it this or was it this and to have a place to come home to in the financial choices in the housing market led you to this decision. I’m Generation X and I find a lot of baby boomers aren’t prepared for retirement and sometimes they leave their kids holding the bag

No, this was not our original plan because we thought we would never want to retire to be honest. We both had jobs that we loved but financially we still had a pension plan and savings. Then my husband began to be promoted and acquired more responsibility that he didn’t want so that was the place we found ourselves in. He was now stressed for the first time in his work life and yes the money was great but he was unhappy. He kept saying no to the promotions but to no avail so he decided to set up all his men and the business where it needed to be so they had plenty of work on the books and then give his resignation. A year later it was thriving and he was able to leave with everyone happy. We have 4 adult kids and many grandkids. I had wanted to travel full time for years and my husband who preferred being home decided to follow. We sold our home because we didn’t want to worry over it and we could always buy another one if we didn’t care for traveling. We are in our 7th year now! Watched both parts 1 & 2. Reed Bingham is a really nice, underrated park. just loved spending time here. Glad you all stopped there too. The new ly redone campsites and Bath houses are really nice. Thumbs up the video.

Been going there for years. Last few times. Horrible. Ittiots peeing on the water. Dirtbikes running oround. Other rvs on top of others. Could not park correctly without picking there nose. The office people did not care. Sad great place to go. 😢

Hi there. Well we went back to our new apartment in Casares. Been back home about a week now. Meson de Castillo was great. Thank you for the recommendation.. We are going over again in late October. Can't wait..!!

You both sure are obsessed with the horse poop, but what you are smelling is more likely cow poop. Way more cows than horses around here and they put that on the fields too, which is a special kind of yummy smell.

Oh that is good to know. We have been traveling so long in farmland areas now that we don’t even notice that smell anymore. Plus, we will take that smell over the smells in the city any day! We love Shipshewana and you are blessed to live there!

I attended first grade at Shipshewana School, which had grades 1 thru 12 in the same building. It was daunting as I remember going to the same restroom as high school seniors, who seemed intimidating.

Be sure to take a day trip to Tarifa and we have a video about that great little town. It is one of our places to visit and such a treat. You can see the coast of Africa so clearly.

@@gypsyrubbertramps3487 I am thinking of renting in Valencia for six months and taking trips to decide if I want to eventually buy a home in the Costa Del Sol or Costa Blanco coasts. I live in Memphis now and it would be much easier to retire in the countryside in Tennessee but I think that would be quite boring after awhile. Spain looks attractive with the weather, food, friendly people, good healthcare, and great beaches. The downside is the high taxes but I think it would be worth it.
