This is truly incredible flute playing. In the end, it comes down to your sound. Alenas' tone is amazing, and she plays extremely musical. Altus flutes and WIBB are a factor too......

This is superb playing. Altus makes the best flutes, hands down. The quality is consistent throughout their line of flutes. The quality is very even through all three registers, it has the perfect 'flute sound', that you want. Their head joints are incredible. But flutes do not play themselves, and to play as great as Alena, takes a lifetime of daily practice and hard work. Her high register is beautiful, and she plays effortlessly. To get to the level of playing so relaxed with no tension takes years. I love her tone and her musicality. Brava Alena, I'm now a huge fan of yours.

WIBB's contribution to flute playing through his indefatigable teaching activities throughout the world, is probably second only to Marcel Moyse.This cavalcade of grateful students and colleagues sharing their gratitude,memories and achievements with their teacher and colleague,brings home the message in the best possible way. WIBB rerighted my course in trying times,I can only pass it forward.

Thank you Altus for this wonderful tribute to an amazing flute legend such as Wibb. I had the pleasure of performing for him at his summer flute academy at Austin Peay State University (Through this masterclass, I ended up meeting my graduate flute teacher who was a student of his and Trevor Wye) back in 2016 and it was an eye-opening experience. Happy Retirement Wibb!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

What a great tribute to the living legend William Bennett. Thank you WIBB for all these wonderful years of teaching, performing, and flute philosophy, why not? The flute world always will be in debt with you. Your charisma and happiness is infinite and you knew how to be contagious. You were always willing to help others and to support the career of young flutists around the world. I know the word "retirement" in your case is not definitive, you will be around more than ever. A big BIG hug for you and Michie.
