Great preview, I take it you're a beta tester, or are you part of the dev team? I would have really liked to see the cold start procedure though. I'm very happy to see that nice analog-looking navigation map showing waypoints and airports, this will give more to do on longer flights.

It looks a lot better now, I really like it's got its own HUD and not the standard one of the sim. I think nk the two seater is a lot better looking than the single seat.

great video, excellent, in mine when I activate HOOK/STOVL, it doesn't activate vertical mode, it lowers the hook, I don't know how to change it to stovl.

Sorry, I guess you managed the cowl flaps upside down. In this plane, the closed position coincides with the closed position of throttles. It is not intuitive.

Does the engine keep failing as per the real ones?

The middle screen does work. You need to enable the FLIR switch to IR mode before enabling IRADS power. Flir switch is down on The right.

Temperature gauge: does give OAT (outside temp) not cabin temp.

At startup you have to swich off avionics as you have full amperage availeble. Also don't swich magneto in 'on' position, let engine turn over and count blades : 12 blades than turn mags on and prime at same time and wait for engine to belge and running. The blad counting is to turn over engine 4 revolutions to clear oil from underside cylinders to prevent heavy backfire thus damaging cylinder pushrots. Hope it makes sense 😊

Nice one. The manual says to turn off booster pumps once in the air. Whenever I do that the engines conk out, stop working. Does this happen to you.

Thanks for the demo on this. I agree the sounds need work and I have a feeling there will be mods for this aircraft. I think it needs a GPS as well as sounds being revamped. I get a better feeling in this plane then I do in the DC-3 or the C-47, almost more immersive. It is bigger and has better range then the DC-3. I am surprised I haven't seen you before this. I am a yank and I have been on here a year now providing content. I spend a lot of time in the UK and Europe flying mostly pistons and older aircraft. Thanks again and I gave you a sub!

It has a double wasp on each wing!!!! thats 2 Hellcats pulling it along, it should absolutely roar from start up to shut down, i think il by pass this one untill the sounds are sorted. such a shame.

Anybody have any insight on whether VOR is currently bugged, no matter what VOR frequency I tune into, heading 2 does not change heading/bearing? EDIT, it now appears to be working as intended, I'm assuming because it's an unofficial mod, some of the more delicate systems appear to be a little temperamental!

18:52 well that terrain looks better than DCS, i dont know if you fly lower will look very bad, but the shades and the houses and industry looks actually very good, DCS dont have nothing in this area (ground eye candy) like i see here, lets be honest

Microprose just got involved with this game. Probably why the new update. This game has been in early access since 2016. I was surprised they got involved with it, since the first game was by Psygnosis.
