I find the remote control upper frame of membrane on your press to be an uphill grade if we are forming PUR poplar wood shapes in 13" X 68" sized plies and experience slipping-shifting as the top membrane frame is brought down. This can shift things with plies being an arc some 8" above the table plane. My Barth press has the quick drawn down capabilities tank but this can hinder slippery plies. I have the wet vac pump with .97 bar of vacuum and everything happens quickly even with taping certain edges prior to closing the frame. It requires several attempts to position product.
