Also there's the boston sound...similar to the cocked wah thing, but you turn 100 all the way down, 200 all the way up , 400 all the way down, and so on.

Very cool rendition of this with your own spin on it, covers with some originality can be as good as the tracks themselves. Well done man🔥

This "effect" is more important than any Pre Amp pedal since it can be used to even greater, well, "effect", no? An EQ pedal like this might make you forget about Pre Amp pedals altogether, except of course for the stellar Boss CE-1 pre amp that can be had with Boss' BP-1W or Warm Audio's WA-C1 clone.

@@riowolfhart Oh sry. My choice of words was a but harsh. But yeah I totally prefer Blue Eyes. If I can make one more criticism I think your instruments sound amazing but maybe you might want to keep auditioning for a singer. Can you or your brother sing?

I used that exact one. I'm a lead guitarist and used it for a variety of things but mostly to increase the volume of my solos. It would give me that little boost over top the rest of the guys playing in a live setting. It's a great tool.

Never seen any amp that doesn't already have EQ controls built in...
@riowolfhart12 күн бұрын
you´re right, but: With the pedal you manipulate the signal thats coming into the frontend of the amp. The EQ in the AMP is i believe between Preamp and Poweramp. This actually makes a big difference

I have a GE-7 that I got from my Grandfather, just really sucks I can't do any of those things cause it broke and has a constant buzzing
@user-ec6xd2ig4c14 күн бұрын
I use this Boss GE7 pedal after any Boss distortion or overdrive pedal amd the results are awesome. I also use the old Boss Micro Rackmount equalizer. It has more sliders for a more tailored sound frequencies from its extended parameters.
@andrewpappas931114 күн бұрын
You can never go wrong with the GE-7, also some other cool things I've seen done with it are scoop the mids to get that classic Metallica/thrash metal tone and also mess with the settings to get a sort of filter/AM radio-type sound which also sounds really cool

I want to get one, or possibly the Behringer copy, but I heard the Boss EQ is kind of noisy.
@paulcummins413418 күн бұрын
I'll add one more thing, if you have an old school metal zone you can make it a vastly better sounding pedal, helps take out that harsh top end like it's crazy how good they sound together.
