Hi, I did change the housing as they were different color as my car, but the are identical. The sail piece(black plastic) is different and mounting point, that is why you have to replace the base of the mirror with the one from the golf. Cool, I retrofitted this weekend the OE DSP amplifier from NOKIA to go with my MFD navigation unit. Coded DSP on the MFD thru VCDS. Will post a video of it soon as it is not 100 percent finished yet, but working. I am from Romania.

@@marcusm556oh i just bought a dsp too, an A version ! + an mfd G and i need now a tmc box of passat to made him communicate with my FIS cluster. For the folding mirroir, your passager mirroir was already a big one then ? same as driver side. Because me i have the smaller one, so to do this retrofit correctly i will need a big houssing for passenger (same size than driver side) i m from belgium. You do great job, happy to see all your future updates 🙏

@@G4-Motion Well, as you can see in the mirror vid i did, I already had the big (US style) mirror housing. The skoda superb mirrors are all big ones, so if you find a set it is all you need, and some patience :). You don't need TMC box to display the info in the full FIS display in the cluster. Being a 2002 car, it is IMMO3 cluster. Just need to wire up 3 wires in the T32 pin green connector and code the MFD to "display in IC" or smtg like that. Connect pins: 30 - clock 31 - data 32 - enable to the green miniISO connector in the MFD, you can see which pins as they are detailed on the unit label.

(an some A version from sharan) The one of passat, communicated with can bus, and need the tmc box. without it, he will not communicate with the cluster. I think i will sell it and buy a mfd D, more simple i think.

@@optinum only the clips, the screws are not included, plus the plastic expanding things you have to drill for in the fender liner.

Thanks. I don't think moving the last one to the edge would help, as that position aligns OK without any modification, the problem in in the area where the arch is, so the second clip. From the third onwards it is again flush with the chassis. I did not felt the need to reposition it.

Thanks. I think it can be done using some audi relay, but as it is now it shouldn't supose to.work from the key, so it is normal. Unfortunately I don't know exactly what modifications has to be done.

@@marcusm556 At first I had done the scheme of using the Audi relay but it also only worked from the joystick. I have a tutorial that I haven't done yet, which would be to update the door modules and from there it would have to work with the car alarm. If you want, I'll give it to you, because you have more experience and understand better how to do said tutorial.

+Claudiu Platon Chip avea de cand am luat masina, nu am facut nici o modificare decat IQ dupa ce le-am schimbat. Acum are 151ps si 325Nm, masurati.

intr-un oras ca timisoara variaza in functie de ora la care iesi. Dar pot sa spun ca la orele care prefer eu sa ies, cand nu e aglomeratie cumplita intre 7 si 8 lejer.
