Will Hanna and Joe Barbera's brief cameo together as themselves is a lot like Jim Henson's brief cameo as himself at the end of A Muppet Family Christmas (1987) where he observes the festivities with Sprocket from Fraggle Rock and the cameo animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston did together in The Incredibles (2005) where they observe the heroes victorious. This and the two I mentioned are all good examples of meta cameos done right.

Good thing the Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles commercials aren't cannon to Flintstones lore because if they were, Barney would be quite a hypocrite for berating Fred for squandering his nest egg considering how many times he tried to steal Fred's cereal and concocted elaborate ruses on a regular basis, when really it would have been far easier and cheaper to just go to the store and buy some boxes. Add up approximate cost in disguises and whatnot in the schemes altogether and I imagine it'd be the value of your average nest egg.

I honestly feel bad for Paulie. Paulie was only handed the papers given to Rocky. The papers most likely did look like a tax extension for Paulie. Rocky takes a look (again most likely looks like a tax extension) signs it. In reality he probably should have ran it y Adrian first, who was the only one to quickly realize it was a power of attorney. However, Rocky and Adrian were in a fight and probably weren’t talking at the time.

Yk, they could’ve used the gym to get out of this. A bit of Marketing, fix up and expand the gym, ppl would’ve lined up to be Trained by the Italian Stallion. Also, they should’ve vetted the guy before just giving him the keys to their livelihood and snaking all their money from under them.

Seeing this special for the first time this year, honestly the opening of Mr. Bill in the powdering room really surprised me because this same footage was also used as a Comedy Central “We’re All Going to Die” commercial in 1992. I’m wondering if that footage came from an unused SNL skit.

Certainly nice Joseph “Joe” Barbera and William “Bill” Hanna got to attend the aftermath of Pebble and BamBam’s wedding, only fitting the creators got to make a special guest appearance.

No way Paulie had any authority to give power of attorney over Rocky's millions. In what world does Paulie who lives with them and only job is accompanying Rocky to Russias frozen hellholes because between the environment and Paulie any man who survives would be a hard as nails killer in or out of the ring but back to the point on what planet does Paulie handle any financial matters? If so they deserve to be broke but considering he went with Rocky to Russia when did Paulie do this? Before they left? When both Rocky and Adrian were still at home? Adrian didn't even go to Russia until after them so it would seem that alarm bells might have went off that the accountant wanted Paulie to sign papers when both of his clients were available to do so. Poorly written plot and an example of they think were stupid like anybody can sign a piece of paper and hand over your fortune.

Can’t blame Barney for being upset with Fred. As he has every right to be angry with his best friend, after putting all the blame on him for ruining the wedding the only person to blame for the wedding getting ruined is Fred and absolutely nobody else Fred made the stupid mistake of not only gambling his money towards the Super Bowl and getting fired from his job because of his violent temper, but also because how he practically almost destroyed his family in every sense of the word. I know his mother-in-law hates him, but now she hates him even more than ever, and I don’t blame her because he’s always been a jerk towards her and we see the reason why during the clip of Fred and Wilma‘s wedding Fred insulted his mother-in-law by saying something bad about the Hat she wore. Of all the boneheaded stuff that Fred has done over the years this is the worse of them all. I’m just grateful in the end he made up for everything and learned his lesson.

Paulie and Rocky should’ve brought the tax extension/power of attorney to these guys first before anything was signed so they could read the fine print. Now that I’m older and have dealt with POA in real life, there’s no way you could mistake a blanket POA as a tax extension. But Rocky and Paulie aren’t the most educated I guess
